I am so tired of the fake controversy regarding Hillary Clinton’s personal e-mails. Hundreds of government officials at both state and federal levels have committed the same “crime,” but they are not feared by the Republican Party. For more than five years the GOP has demonstrated its fearful position regarding a Clinton campaign. Wasting money with numerous “investigations” regarding Benghazi, and her e-mails is frivolous.
Her Republican opponents cannot attack her on the issues, they disagree with everything she proposes because they would positively affect the majority. The position of the GOP is to protect special interests and their bloated profits.
Republicans jumped on a statement from FBI Director James Comey. Clinton called the investigation a ‘security inquiry,’ but Comey labeled it an investigation. It turns out that both are correct. I just hope that when this is finished the issue disappears forever.
The Republican Party continues to ignore important issues while playing politics with such non-issues as Facebook’s “news feed,” and alleged illegal e-mails.
“We don’t do these because we’re curious,” said Ellen Glasser, a retired FBI special agent who worked on cases regarding mishandled classified information. “There’s a potential that a criminal violation took place.”
This is what the FBI does; “investigate.” I, for one, am pleased. If they discover that there was no crime involved, the subject is closed.
“Clinton’s phrasing — calling it a ‘security inquiry”’— is not necessarily wrong,” said Mark Pollitt, former chief of the FBI’s computer forensics program. He explained that an FBI investigation will include both security and criminality.
I am anxious for this campaign season to face issues. Ignorant name calling, or Paul Ryan labeling a Hillary Clinton presidency as a ‘disaster,’ is avoidance of a discussion of the numerous issues revealed only by Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders.
The only “disaster” for the Republican Party is the Republican Party. It is the party of the rich, and has no qualified men or women to represent the American people.
Make no mistake about it; Donald Trump is the Republican Party. He openly reveals the party’s philosophies and intent; it’s not pretty unless you are a member of the one-percent. Trump IS the one-percent.
