Don’t Let the Media Mislead You: This is the Truth About the 2016 Campaign

Parties

Here are some of the headlines on Google’s news page today.

“Dems’ new fear: Sanders revolt could upend Democratic convention;” CNN

“Hannity Names Who He Considers to Be the ‘Best Choice’ for Trump to Select as Running Mate;” TheBlaze.com

“Can Bernie Sanders control his supporters at the Democratic convention?” Los Angeles Times

“Despite Black Lives Matter, young black Americans aren’t voting in higher numbers;” Washington Post

“The Republican Party Chairman Said “People Just Don’t Care” About Trump’s Views on Women;” Face the Nation

“Inside the GOP effort to draft an independent candidate to derail Trump;” Washington Post

Not one of these stories is based on fact; they are all assumptions. The general election battle is far different than the primaries. The media must continue speculation to obtain readership in support of their advertising campaigns. If we simply analyze the titles, we can decipher attempts to mislead the voting public.

The greatest difference between the Republican Party and Democrats is the fact that they deliberate; they do not scream and yell at each other. If this article infers that conventioneers will be divided, that’s true; but only initially. Hillary and Bernie have more in common than in their differences. The party will unite to defeat the worst offering by the GOP in history.

Next; does anyone care who Sean Hannity believes Trump will choose as his running mate? He is an entertainer, not a journalist, and he’s not very good at his job. His only real job is to promote FOX Noise, as it ratings slide.

The next is almost hilarious. Asking if Bernie Sanders can control his supporters at the convention proves that this writer has never watched a Democratic convention. I am pleased that Bernie has pledged to fight through the convention. Unlike Republicans who failed to challenge Trump, both candidates have excited voters, and if Hillary wins, as expected, Bernie will strongly back Hillary, and ask his supporters to do the same.

You must understand Black voters. Primaries matter little to younger black men and women. But when they understand the importance of defeating Trump in November, they will be there; even in red states which make it difficult for them to cast their votes

Okay, we all know that Reince Priebus, the Chairman of the RNC, is not the sharpest tool in the shed, and one of the primary reasons “Trumpenstein” was created. But by claiming that voters do not care about Trump’s past regarding women; this is simply another time when he is ignoring women voters. Single women are a fast-growing bloc of voters, and they no longer ask for equality in all things they are demanding and taking what belongs to them. Chauvinists, such as Trump are no longer tolerated.

Does anyone believe that a ‘third party’ candidate will emerge from the Republican Party? The hypocrites who once damned Trump are already supporting him. Men of weak character such as McConnell, McCain, Rand Paul, and, eventually, Paul Ryan are or will endorse Trump. For Republicans, it’s party first, the future of our nation, last.

So do yourself a favor; don’t believe everything you read. Believe me, your blood pressure will thank you.
