Before I get into this story, I must say once again; take religion out of my government. These cults are destroying my nation by attempting to repeal and revoke the Constitution. Like our founding fathers, I do not want a fairy tale to control my life.
That said, let’s take a look at what’s happening in the ‘red state’ of Oklahoma.
The Oklahoma legislature has decided that women lack sufficient intelligence to make decisions regarding their own bodies, and therefore should be punished for making a decision which is opposed by Christian cults. It has passed a law which will allow criminal prosecution for anyone who performs an abortion. The sentence would be three years in a state prison.
The bill has been sent to the desk of Governor Mary Fallin, a Republican. She has not offered her opinion about whether she will sign the bill or veto it. It is possible that she will do nothing for five days. If she takes this politically correct action, the bill will automatically become law.
Oklahoma, also known as “Texas Junior,” has only three reasons to exist; it is a large producer of fossil fuels and now earthquakes thanks to fracking; it is proud of its number of executions; and it serves as a garbage pit for Texas.
“This bill is as direct an assault on Roe v. Wade — and the Supreme Court’s subsequent jurisprudence — as anything we’ve seen before. If this law is upheld, then (the Roe decision) is meaningless,” said Steve Vladeck, a CNN contributor and law professor at the American University Washington College of Law, referring to the Supreme Court decision legalizing abortion.
The Texas legislature has voted to secede from the United States; we can only hope that Oklahoma will remove itself as well. We do not need states which fail to believe in America.
Of course Republican leadership continues to claim that there is no such thing as a ‘war on women.’ The old adage ‘actions speak louder than words’ proves that they are nothing but liars. Their fight against the rights of women to obtain a legal abortion is only the tip of the iceberg.
Every piece of legislation which would benefit women receives a ‘nay’ vote from Republican congressmen and senators. They voted ‘no’ on an increase to the federal minimum wage, guaranteeing equal pay in the workplace, and even denied the renewal of the Violence Against Women Act.
Republicans continue in its attempts to defund Planned Parenthood. They are attacking low-income and impoverished women with claims that the agency is primarily an abortion clinic. The fact is that no federal funds have been used for abortion since 1976, with the exception of rape or incest. It assists women with reproductive maladies, including education. Its patients pay little or nothing for care they are unable to obtain from other sources.
I advise all women to move away from Oklahoma and other states who deny your Constitutional rights. I advise everyone to disavow Christian organizations. These cults are removing free thought and intellect while championing control over Americans with the use of human’s greatest weakness; emotions.
Those of us who denounce organized religions number 65 million; and we are growing in numbers with every day.
