As Republicans continue to do nothing in Washington, they persist in wasting time about non-issues; items which have no relevance in our nation’s government, or the needs of our people.
Facebook has become the most important issue in history for Republicans. Although Facebook is a social network, and not a news publication, Republicans are criticizing the exclusion of “events” at CPAC in its ‘Trending Topics’ section.
If you don’t know what CPAC is I’ll tell you the truth. The ‘Conservative Political Action Conference is a gathering of extremists on the right wing; occurring in the early months of each year. What is its purpose? It has none with the exception of yelling, screaming, and lying about progressives. It is filled with speeches without content. Denouncing President Obama, Hillary Clinton, and other Democrats is its only purpose. There is no discussion of policy, and no pronouncement of solutions for our nation’s ills.
So what are they complaining about? There is nothing new to report.
After a ridiculous ‘investigation,’ including an appearance by Facebook founder, Mark Zuckerberg, these morons remain unhappy that their ‘waste of time’ was not heralded as a great and productive event.
However, CPAC says the letter lacks sufficient detail. “Facebook appears to have conducted an investigation of itself that does not meet minimum standards of accuracy or basic explanations detailing what exactly happened with suppressed CPAC coverage,” a CPAC spokesman told FoxNews.com, via email. “They seem to admit that ‘something happened,’ but fail to explain what that was, and how and why it happened.”
‘CPAC’ is not news; each year is a repetition of the previous year. It lauds ‘conservatism’ while in truth they are much further to the right. There is nothing new; the word which spells news. If they would offer positive ideas for the future of our nation, that would be news. This never occurs.
The only thing Republicans in Washington can claim as a success is their ability to waste time. Whether it is the investigation of the IRS, Benghazi, or e-mail accounts, these are what the right wing considers ‘good government.’
The ‘non-issue’ of Facebook and its ‘Trending Topics’ is the most ridiculous of all.
Okay, Republican voters, you elected them and they have made fools out of all who support them. Now make our nation even worse by voting for anyone with an “R” next to his or her name in November.
Insure that America will never have an opportunity to become a great nation.
