Another Mislead by Trump: He Will Not Debate Bernie Sanders

BS

Donald Trump told his supporters that he would gladly debate Bernie Sanders. He said that he was eager to engage the Senator from Vermont; but he was simply telling another lie.

This was his statement on Friday:

“Based on the fact that the Democratic nominating process is totally rigged and crooked Hillary Clinton and Deborah Wasserman Schultz will not allow Bernie Sanders to win, and now that I am the presumptive Republican nominee, it seems inappropriate that I would debate the second-place finisher,” Mr. Trump said.

“Likewise, the networks want to make a killing on these events and are not proving to be too generous to charitable causes, in this case, women’s health issues,” he said in his statement. “Therefore, as much as I want to debate Bernie Sanders — and it would be an easy payday — I will wait to debate the first-place finisher in the Democratic Party, probably crooked Hillary Clinton, or whoever it may be.”

Although Trump’s rhetoric is often foolish, angry, or an attempt to personally degrade someone, let’s take a look at this statement and search for some truth.

First of all, Trump is weak on every issue facing our nation. He has offered very few solutions to our problems, and those have been debunked by experts. In addition, he is a member of the one-percent which is Bernie Sanders’ main focus.

Trump could not resist attacking the Democratic party, claiming that the nominating process is ‘rigged.’ Of course he offered the same complaint during the primaries in his own party when the RNC revealed its support for Ted Cruz. His next sentence once again revealed his ego, saying that he was superior to Sanders and therefore would not debate him.

But it is the second paragraph which reveals the “real” Donald Trump. He blatantly lied about the networks and their lack of interest in a debate between a businessman and an experienced Senator. He also attempted to pander to women claiming that the money would be given to organizations supporting women’s health; but not Planned Parenthood. He displayed his fear of losing badly in a real debate, which would lack all similarity to the school yard brawls offered by Republicans during the primaries.

Trump is afraid to show the American people how little he knows about government and our nation. He is all talk, and soon the American people will know the truth.

He claims that he eagerly awaits debating “crooked Hillary,” but the truth is that he will enter a battle without armament or knowledge.

The sooner America puts the embarrassment of Donald Trump behind us, the better. The Republican Party has allowed the man who drove the clown car to represent them. This proves that the GOP is no more than a bad joke played upon the American people.

I’m not laughing any longer; how about you?
