There are two blocs of voters entirely ignored by the Republican Party; millennials and women. The truth is that these two groups will be in control of our nation in approximately 20 years. Gone will be my generation, the baby boomers and our children who have failed to become involved in the future of our nation.
Millennials are less racist and bigoted, and refuse to align themselves with religion; they are far more independent than older Americans, and refuse to allow others to tell them how to live their lives.
Women are in a position to take control of our nation. Fewer women are looking at marriage as their future and are returning to college seeking a career. Single women are growing in numbers but politicians are virtually ignoring them. They have turned 180 degrees from the values of their mothers and grandmothers. Careers are the priority; some never plan to marry or have children. Today more women are enrolled in our colleges and universities than men.
This is the most significant change in America and the world. Our government has been in the control of men who have failed our nation for 240 years. They have forced women to be second class citizens for far too long; the revolution has begun. They have been denied equal rights, and now they are taking them. Women have made the decision that men are not required to fulfill their lives.
If men and women foolishly and blindly support their chosen parties, they will cancel each other out in the November election. Our next president will be elected by Independents who now compose 42 percent of voters. Women are a large percentage of this voting bloc. They are shunning political parties who have proven that the party has priority over our nation and its people.
Women will decide who will live in the White House. This is extremely important, but not because one of the candidates is a woman. What is more important is that the other candidate is a misogynist. He is a 69-year-old man who continues to believe that women serve but a single purpose.
The latest Gallup poll reveals that 58 percent of men find Donald Trump an unfavorable candidate, but 70 percent of women have the same opinion. Trump cannot win without the support of women. He has obviously lost minorities and the LGBT community. He must rely on his supporters who share his belief in racism, bigotry, and misogyny.
The media is intentionally misleading the American people. The “polls” they offer are biased. If they want to increase interest in the election, they select specific demographics to answer their queries. This is not exclusive to FOX Noise; ABC, NBC, and CBS do the same.
Think about it carefully; have you ever been consulted by a legitimate polling organization? I have; twice. But that is a poor percentage considering the fact that I have been a registered voter for nearly 49 years. Apparently I did not give them the answers they sought.
The fact is that exit polls have revealed more about our elections than those taken prior to voting. Republicans have more support from less educated and mostly white voters. Democrats are favored by men and women who have more education, by single women, and minorities.
Trump supporters align themselves with their party’s standard bearer, and reveal the overall attitude and values of their party. It would not be a miracle if Trump won the election; it would be a travesty.
