Once again proving that he is the least qualified candidate in the history of all presidential hopefuls, Donald Trump offered another ignorant remark.
To call stump ignorant is an insult to all Americans who are intellectually challenged. When President Obama became the first sitting president to visit Hiroshima, the sight of the first attack using an atomic bomb, it was an emotional and historical event meant to solidify the relationship between the United States and Japan.
The President did not apologize for the bombing which killed over 100,000 Japanese citizens, but he expressed the need for all nations to ban nuclear weapons. This made Trump very unhappy. The uninformed Republican candidate wanted the President to belittle the attack on Pearl Harbor which forced America into WWII, and cost the lives of 2,235 American soldiers.
‘Now our president is right now…’ he began.
The crowd booed, to which Trump replied: ‘You’re right, it’s pathetic.’
“Honestly folks, we have leadership right now in this country, especially at the top, that is grossly incompetent. They don’t know what the hell they’re doing.
“So he’s in Japan, in Hiroshima, and that’s fine. Just as long as he doesn’t apologize, it’s absolutely fine. Who cares?” he said.
The controversy regarding the use of nuclear weapons in August, 1945 continues; but Trump has already claimed that he would drop atom bombs on ISIS if he deemed it necessary. The attack on Pearl Harbor was an attack of war; the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki were attacks on civilians. But Trump doesn’t know the difference.
Let’s call Trump what he truly is; a stupid man. Sadly, this is the best the Republican Party has to offer as the possible leader of the free world. Under a Trump presidency our nation would be isolated from the rest of the developed world. We would have no allies while Trump cozied up to villains such as Vladimir Putin.
But here’s an interesting fact. Although Trump advocated the President reprimanding Japan’s leaders for the December 7, 1941 attacks, he recently said that he would allow Japan to develop nuclear weapons. Really?
Donald Trump is totally unaware of the workings of government. His presidency would be the greatest danger to the world since the rise of Adolf Hitler in Germany. His xenophobia will forbid him from any form of diplomacy, and his volatile temperament would prove dangerous for the safety of Americans all over the world.
Trump cannot be viewed as a serious candidate. His remarks reported in this article display his complete lack of knowledge and ability to be the President of the United States.
The American people must ‘get over themselves,’ and realize that Hillary Clinton has the knowledge and experience to lead our nation and will work for all of us.
The biggest lie about Trump is that he is a ‘deal maker.’ What he actually is, is a bully. He is not a negotiator, and has no respect for the opinions of others. He has become the most dangerous, and most hated man in America. Minorities hate him; women hate him; and intelligent people everywhere hate him.
But Trump has greater problems. It has been reported that he will no longer use his personal finances to fund his campaign, and therefore is “broke.” Trump now need the Super PACS he has vilified for the last ten months. Another Republican hypocrite.
