Always Follow the Money: Impeach Bondi

Florida

It’s always easy to find the root of criminal activity, corruption, and political misconduct; simply follow the money. Take the case of Donald Trump’s defense of alleged fraudulent action by his Trump University.

The state of Florida originally joined other states and individuals who are litigating against the institution. However, that suddenly changed.

Pam Bondi is Florida’s Attorney General. During the state’s deliberations regarding the lawsuit, Bondi personally asked Trump for a campaign contribution. In violation of campaign contribution laws, a spokesman for Bondi reported that she received $25,000 from a Trump family organization; a charity. Subsequently, Bondi announced that Florida would not participate in the legal action against Trump University; citing ‘insufficient evidence.’ Really?

Close scrutiny of Trump’s business activities will likely produce additional instances of “buying” his way from facing legal action against him and his companies. Trump has openly stated that he believes that he should ‘receive favors’ from businesses and organizations to which he donates money.

“When I want something I get it,” Trump said at an Iowa rally in January. “When I call, they kiss my ass. It’s true.”

The lawsuits filed against Trump and Trump University allege that students were defrauded of as much as $35,000 each. They claim that they failed to receive the real estate education promised by the university.

“I was laid off work for the first time in my life and really need this money to support my family,” wrote one of the many people seeking help, adding that he had been promised a refund but never received it. “$1,400 is so much money for my family.”

Meanwhile, Trump continues his racist attacks against District Court Judge Gonzalo Curiel, charging the jurist with bias because of his “Mexican heritage.” The fact is that Judge Curiel was born in Indiana; his parents are Mexican immigrants. This is all based on the false claim that Trump will “build a huge wall between Mexico and the United States to stop illegal immigration;” a problem which is virtually non-existent today.

The list of corrupt Republican politicians is too long to list here; a link will be attached if you care to read about these criminals.

Because Republicans support each other, regardless of their actions, Bondi is certain to retain her position. However, that does not stop me or others who promise to tell the truth and expose wrong-doing. She is another despicable Republican, and all Americans should be aware of her actions.
