Although Dick Cheney will continue to retain the title of “most evil man in America” until the day he finally meets his demise, The only failure in the Republican Party who attempts to challenge Bush’s puppet master is Newt Gingrich.
The former Speaker of the House was charged with 84 ethics violations by Democrats. All were suspended with the exception of one. But the one; claiming tax-exempt status for a college course run for political purposes; was enough. He was censured by a vote of 395 to 28, and required to pay back $300,000 for the cost of the investigation. In 1998 he was forced to resign in disgrace. No criminal charges were filed.
Gingrich’s morality became in question when he paraded his new mistress publicly, while his wife lay in a hospital bed, dying from cancer related maladies.
Today, he is making another outrageous and unsubstantiated claim. Gingrich assumes that the only reason Bernie Sanders remains in the race for the Democratic nomination, is because Hillary Clinton is under investigation by the FBI. Really?
“First of all, if I were Bernie and I think this is what he’s doing, why should he drop out before the FBI drops out?” Gingrich remarked on “Fox & Friends.”
He added, “As long as the FBI is in the game he might as well stay around at least until the convention.”
Gingrich is supporting the man who supported him in 2012. In typical hypocritical Republican fashion, he labels Trump as a “talented newcomer.” Talented at what? He is involved in numerous lawsuits, has many business failures, and has alienated every American of color, women, and all religions with the exception of Christianity.
Trump has remained in contention for the nomination for one-year. Personally, I hoped he would learn to attain some mastery of the English language by now, and would have offered a single legitimate idea for the betterment of our nation. But his poor temperament will not allow these things to happen.
Gingrich would be a perfect match for Trump on the Republican ticket. They have each been married three times and proven themselves to be philanderers; neither believes in the principles of America and would refuse to represent all our nation’s people if elected.
The media refuses to report the truth, but the majority of Americans agree with me that the Republican Party is fractured beyond repair in its present form. Trump and Gingrich are perfect examples of how the party has lost its principles and ideals, and replaced them with extremists who lack the will or ability to deliberate and compromise. This is why our government remains in gridlock.
The truth is that we need two parties; but two parties who have positive ideas of value to all Americans. Both parties have moved to the right, and the Republican Party has become controlled by extremists. A Democratic Republic only works when centrists control Congress. Conservatives have taken an oath to insure that only their ideas will be heard; that is the root cause of America’s failure to become a great nation, and now has one of the worst governments in the world.
Gingrich is drastically attempting to discredit the woman who will be the 45th President of the United States. He has no morals, no ability to govern, and no concern for the majority of the American people.
