Mike Huckabee’s Religious Extremism

faux-Christian

I never understood why Mike Huckabee believed he had a chance to win the Republican Party’s nomination in 2016. He believes in only one thing; Christian religious dominance. He has proven that he believes in the Bible, but not the Constitution. He is like a child who believes in fairytales, by not in math, English, or science.

This is why I’m not surprised that while speaking in Israel he supports Trump’s idea of singling out Muslims as the only religious group not allowed into the United States.

No one is denying that the current terrorist problem is composed of those who claim to follow the teachings of Islam. The truth is that they are not, but the fact that they perform atrocities in the name of one particular religion is undeniable. But if this is what Huckabee truly believes, then we must ban Christians from entering our nation as well.

White Supremacists, including the Ku Klux Klan and various ‘skinhead’ splinter groups are composed of white men and women who claim to be Christians. We must not allow more Christians to enter our nation and join these terrorist groups.

“It’s not racist. I think a lot of people are acting like what Donald Trump is saying is so unbelievable,” Huckabee told Israel’s Army Radio Thursday in reference to the Republican presidential candidate’s call in December for a “total and complete shutdown” of Muslims entering the United States. “Actually, what he’s saying is what every country on earth does right now.”

“Not all Muslims are terrorists, but virtually all the terrorists who are doing the kind of murders we’re seeing in America are Muslims,” Huckabee said.

My first suggestion is that anyone who does not believe in the Constitution before all other documents must leave our nation. When Ted Cruz was campaigning, he admitted that his religion, the one based on fantasy, was more important to him than the United States of America. Anyone who seeks the presidency must place country first; first before religion, and first before party loyalty.

Fortunately, America is changing, and changing quickly. More than 65 million Americans refuse to align themselves with a single religion. Many are agnostics, and some are atheists. Millennials compose a large percentage of this group, and they outnumber baby boomers today.

Religion is a crutch. More evil is done in the name of religion than for any other single ‘cause.’ Men who are controlled by demonic thought are often victims of a cult leader who claims to be Christian or Muslim. These are men who are inherently angry and are looking for something and someone in whom to believe.

Huckabee is frightened. Eliminating those such as myself who shun organized religion, Christianity is losing more members at a faster rate than any other religion. The fastest growing major religion is the religion of Islam.

Huckabee’s speech in Israel is designed to ally himself with Israel’s Jewish population. Many of the American people are offended by Benjamin Netanyahu’s dictatorial style. America has a need for Israel, but without our nation as an ally, it would be in serious danger of extinction.

It’s normal for American voters to believe that if someone is running for the presidency that he or she is intelligent and well-informed. That is not the truth. Huckabee is a narrow-minded, ignorant man who cares about nothing but his Faux-Christian beliefs. He is filled with hatred and prejudice, and in no way believes in the teachings of Jesus Christ.
