No One Cares What Racist Alabama Believes

Half-Staff

Remember two things; the country of Baldwin, Alabama, and the name Tucker Dorsey, the County Commissioner. He decided that he would not honor the victims of Sandy Hook Elementary, the victims in the cowardly Paris attacks, or the victims of a deranged couple in San Bernardino by refusing to lower the county’s flags to half-mast to honor the fallen. He has also chosen not to follow the directive of our President and his governor and lower them for those massacred in Orlando.

“Lowering the flags to half-staff after mass shooting or terrorist event is not a valid circumstance or memorial as specified in the US flag code,” Commissioner Tucker Dorsey wrote on Facebook, explaining his decision. “I realize that the President and Governor may make the order, but I believe and interpret their order inconsistent with the adopted flag code.”

How in the hell did even the most prejudiced voters in the most racist state elect this man? His lack of compassion and concern for the victims, families, and friends of an unwarranted attack on innocent Americans cannot be forgiven.

Our elected officials are intended to support the American people and disregard their personal beliefs. Dorsey is the worst of America; a man who places his own agenda ahead of the nation and its people. Dorsey not only defiles the United States of America, he denigrates Christianity, a religion I am certain her claims to support.

“When the flag is at half-staff, our country’s head is figuratively held low, and quite frankly, I am not willing to hang my head down because of a terrorist attack against our people and our allies,” Dorsey wrote. “I am not willing to hang my head down because evil shoots up a church, school, or movie theater. We need more than a gesture as a response. I want us, as Americans, to stand tall, courageously, and fight back against the forces of evil, and let’s fight like we intend to win.”

I ask you honestly: “What the hell does that nonsensical rambling mean?” This action is to honor the victims; victims about which he obviously has no concern. Dorsey is a villain and a hater of the American people. Those who elected him should be ashamed of themselves and reconsider their judgement.

I do not care about a politician’s personal feelings or prejudices. He or she is elected to serve the people of the city, county, state or nation who voted for him.

Once again I blame the electorate for their poor decisions and I am ashamed to call them ‘my fellow Americans.’
