It’s Never his Fault According to Donald Trump

Donald the Fascist

If you believe the polls, Donald Trump is far behind Hillary Clinton. If you’re paying attention, you are fully aware that his slide is the result of ignorant and offensive comments made by the failed businessman himself. But in true Trump fashion, he decided to pass the responsibility to his campaign manager; he fired Corey Lewandowski.

Lewandowski was controversial. Trump had reportedly been approached by his children and some Republican leaders to remove him for some time. The media will not tell you the truth, they leave that to me. Trump has made many mistakes, and is simply placing the blame on the most senior, and most loyal, member of his campaign staff.

The inference is that Trump will change and avoid the vile and offensive rhetoric which has resulted in an unfavorability rating of 70 percent. He will not; he does not possess the ability to adapt and discuss the issues. He will continue to attack and demean Hillary Clinton and his detractors within the Republican Party.

With less than a month before the Republican convention, the GOP has little or no hope for achieving unification. “Dump-Trump” groups are growing in number, while no one knows where Trump’s campaign is headed; including Trump.

Don’t believe what you hear from the Republican establishment or the media; the GOP is in a state of panic. The probability of having Donald Trump as the party’s presidential candidate is alarming, but the uncertainty of how Trump will conduct his campaign is even more frightening.

His supporters revel in the fact that Trump is not the ‘usual candidate.’ That’s true. Neither party has previously offered the American people a man or woman who is openly racist, bigoted, and has no qualifications whatsoever to become the leader of the free world. Never in our history has one party’s leader spoken so poorly and revealed such a weak temperament.

Trump’s failure is no one’s fault but his own. He continues to use the same tactics he used in the past when he spoke at CPAC. The only difference is that those now cheering for his vile attacks are not fellow Republican supporters; they are supporters of like-mind.

Before he became the presumptive presidential candidate, fellow Republicans loved his mean-spirited and angry rhetoric. They accepted his words as truth and often cheered wildly. Now that he is exposing the entire party for its lack of morality and intellect, they are no longer in love with their creation.

Make no mistake about it, there will be no changes in the Trump campaign now that his aggressive campaign manager has been “given the boot.” Lewandowski is merely the ‘scapegoat’ for a failing campaign.

Personally, I hope that Trump continues to be Trump. Hillary Clinton will stroll into the White House, and Democrats will likely regain control of the Senate and “do-nothing” Mitch McConnell will no longer be in control of the august body.

For Democrats, Trump may be the ‘gift which keeps on giving.’
