Bernie Sanders is the “Anti-Trump”

Bernie

I just read the most ridiculous and misleading article in months. An article in the International Business Times claims that Donald Trump already has ‘locked up’ some Bernie Sanders’ supporters. Really? It speculates that although Senator Sanders has not formally ended his campaign, a number of his followers are moving into Donald Trump’s camp.

I am tired of fairy tales, lies, and hate speech. The truth is that Bernie Sanders will meld with the Clinton campaign in Philadelphia. They will form an alliance whose only purpose is to defeat the worst presidential candidate in history offered by the GOP.

Senator Sanders will urge his supporters to cast their ballots for Ms. Clinton and unite the Democratic Party, something which will never happen for Republicans. It will not be a difficult challenge for Clinton and Sanders; they are very close regarding their positions on the issues most important to all Americans.

I hate to use logic; I know that Republicans hate it. But Bernie Sanders is the “anti-Trump.” Everything Trump claims to stand for is opposed by the Senator from Vermont. Why would his supporters offer their allegiance to a man who rejects everything Bernie has been fighting for throughout his campaign?

Previously I wrote an article about my personal dream. It involved Elizabeth Warren as Hillary’s running mate. I would like to add another element to that dream. At the end of the Democratic convention next month, I would like to see the Clintons, Elizabeth Warren, and Bernie Sanders all on the stage together, united in a single effort; make Hillary the first woman president of the United States and send Trump back to his crumbling golden tower.

The media makes money by ignoring the truth and keeping Trump in the spotlight. He isn’t good for much, but he is good for ratings. If they were to tell the truth, which is NOT good for ratings, Trump is not a legitimate candidate. His lack of experience and knowledge about our government is deplorable and dangerous.

To even hint that Senator Sanders’ supporters would move to Trump’s camp is blasphemous to the efforts of a true American. The entire Republican Party has become a bad joke played upon the American people.

If voters would seek the truth and refuse to vote based on emotional warfare, they would know the facts. This “Republican Party,” in name only, does not believe in the principles and convictions of past true Republicans. They seek office for their own advancement and have no intention of supporting the needs and wishes of the American people once they are elected.

Saying that Sanders’ supporters would consider supporting Trump is a direct assault on the intelligence and morality of the voting public.
