Nothing new can be said about that pompous windbag Rush Limbaugh. All we can do is report his latest evil speech and expose his lies. Limbaugh opposes the first fourth and fourteenth amendments to the Constitution, and yet continually claims that it is the Democrats who fail to follow the law of the land.

His latest rant is as outrageous as any in his sordid past. John Lewis is a Democratic Representative from Georgia. Wednesday evening, he led a sit-in on the floor of the House of Representatives. The purpose was to force a House vote on four gun laws proposed by Democrats.

So what did the brain-dead radio host have to say about the sit-in? You won’t be surprised.

He called the event “childish,” but worse yet he claimed that Lewis was violating the civil rights of Americans. Lewis was an associate and supporter of Martin Luther King and the civil rights movement, including the legendary march on Selma, Alabama.

I always hate it when I am forced to correct a celebrity such as Mr. Limbaugh; it’s hard for me to defame such an icon. However, unlike Limbaugh, I have promised to reveal the truth to my readers.

If this was “childish,” what did Limbaugh think about the shutdown of our government led by Ted Cruz because he couldn’t have his way? Cruz displayed all the maturity of a Donald Trump.

As far as civil rights, it’s obvious that Limbaugh, like his Republican politicians, ignores the polls. If more than 80 percent of the American people support changes to our gun laws, it appears that Lewis was supporting the civil rights of the majority. Sadly, Limbaugh supports the NRA gun lobby and its support of gun manufacturers and gun sellers, with no concern for the safety of the American people.

Rush always finds something to whine about regardless of how ridiculous the subject matter might be. He is a perfect example of what is wrong with America and joins others who refer to the Constitution when they, themselves, fail to believe in the America of our founding fathers.

The good news is that someday he will leave this earth and our nation will lose one of its most divisive and vile fascists. We can only hope, based on his obesity and the fact that he loves his prescription drugs, that his demise will come sooner than later.
