Red and Blue States Have Destroyed the United States

Today’s Supreme Court decision affecting the bigoted changes in Texas’ abortion law will have enormous effects in multiple areas across the nation. The Court struck down a law which discriminated against low-income and poor women in Texas, Wisconsin, and proposed laws in other red states. Therein lies the problem for our nation today; the wealthy can assert their rights and freedom, but the majority of Americas are denied the same liberty.  The Bush Administration began a division unheard of in the United States since the Civil war. Fear tactics based on extremism controlled the American people through the use of emotional warfare for more than a decade.

For hundreds of years a decision made by Congress, based on political motive, has threatened democracy in our nation. Politician’s use of the un-Constitutional Electoral College has resulted in a nation which no longer joins together to support the majority of the American people.

Over the last 15 years the Constitution has been slowly but intentionally eroded; adversely affecting the freedoms and rights of the American people. The evil is centered in a relationship with the existence of political parties who place their ambitions in priority status above the nation and its people.

The Electoral College is a guarantee that both parties are not required to campaign in all 50 states. Their efforts are only focused on states which support a single party and those which are considered “swing states.” Mathematically, that means that six states decide the election of our president.

You, the voting public, have allowed two parties to access an easy road to the White House. You have “been played” by an ambitious group of men and women and manipulated your emotions for their success.

The popular vote is of no importance in today’s elections. Al Gore won the majority of votes from the American public in 2000, but George W. Bush was gifted the presidency by the Supreme Court.

The point is that the American people can no longer allow a small group of ambitious politicians to decide the future of our nation. The idea of red, blue, and swing states must no longer be allowed to exist. The Electoral College is a divisive tool used by politicians and must be revoked. The people must be allowed to choose their president, not a select group of politically motivated individuals who act in a fascist manner.

We must return to the ideals of 1789 and mandate the control of our nation to the people. One man, one vote, must be the mantra of the American voter.

Our enemies must be defeated internationally and domestically. As a citizen, I cannot control the efforts made to destroy ISIS or Al Qaeda, but I can eliminate the eventual devastation which would be the result of a Trump presidency.

If you live in a ‘red’ state, you can choose to forbid a man the presidency who is racist, bigoted, misogynistic, and denies the Constitutional rights of all Americans. You are not required by American principles to vote for a party and deny the best candidate your vote.

Trump cannot be allowed to represent the elimination of American values.
