Daily the media omits stories important to the American people, and fails to offer all the truth; all the information needed to know the facts. For example; Donald Trump made a speech Tuesday which he claimed would reveal his economic plan. As expected, it was nothing but an attack on President Obama and Hillary Clinton. What the media failed to tell the American people is that the Chamber of Commerce had negative comments about Trump.

The Chamber says in a blog post that Trump’s proposals to place tariffs on imports from Mexico and China would spark a trade war. Even if China and Mexico don’t retaliate, the Chamber says the U.S. would still lose a minimum of 2 million jobs.

The Chamber is also pushing back against Trump on Twitter, saying, “Under Trump’s trade plans, we would see higher prices, fewer jobs, a weaker economy.”

Omitting a part of the story is tantamount to lying to their viewers.

The greatest lie told by the media happens when they offer poll results. Most polls are conducted with a selection of voters who are biased towards one cause or one candidate; especially before the conventions. Today CBS and CNN reported that Trump and Clinton were tied in the polls. Two days ago, the same organizations claimed that Clinton had a double-digit lead over her Republican rival. The truth is that they need to keep the public interested and continue to keep ratings high for the purpose of maintaining sponsorship. Always follow the money.

The media will never tell the truth about why the Republican Party is imploding, or who is at fault for gridlock in Washington. I will. The culprit is a single, small group of extremists and obstructionists who have been allowed to control the direction of the GOP. John Boehner resigned because he was unable to control the House. Whether they call themselves the TEA Party or the Freedom Caucus, they are the evil force behind the division in the Republican Party. This same group has promised to say no to any legislation proposed by Democrats, and now our government is broken. They are so far to the right they are wrong.

You will never hear about the evils of fracking, and how destructive it is to the environment. Big oil advertises on network television.

There will never be a discussion about GMOs in the major media. More than 60 nations around the world have decided that they are dangerous, and have either banned their use, or required labels on the food manufactured with GMOs. Monsanto forced the use of GMOs when they created a powerful and dangerous herbicide; the new and improved Roundup. The FDA has approved their use after tests were conducted on the foods produced with their use. Monsanto did the testing.

Proving that they have no concern for the future of our nation or its people, the media will not tell you the truth about Donald Trump. His vile rhetoric sells advertising. He has experienced multiple bankruptcies, is currently being sued for business malpractice, and will have his ‘Trump University’ completely exposed in November. “Crooked Donald.”

Every day the media either reveals only segments of a story, or omits information which is important to the American people. One of the most egregious omissions is the truth about the NRA and gun deaths in America. Last year there were more mass shootings than days in the year, but the media reported less than 10 percent of these tragic events.

If you watch network or cable news, you are one of the uninformed, and you will go to the polls and cast your ballot based on misinformation and omission.

Demand more; you have the right to know.
