I am not by nature aggressive or braggadocio. But I am very proud of my four novels, and I am beginning to like my fifth which is in progress. I must be honest with you and myself. My first three novels are a trilogy about Northern Nevada; the Reno Police Department; and the serial killers they are chasing. My fourth is my favorite. It is a story about a 10-year-old girl who leaves her home in Oregon and becomes a homeless person on the beaches of Los Angeles.
“Sheena” is a strong young woman, who is resourceful, and inspirational. As I wrote the novel I hoped that young men and women would both find respect and even a little reverence for my favorite character to date.
As Sheena explores the beaches of Los Angeles, she has adventures, makes friends, and falls in love.
My wife was glad to see that I stopped writing about murderers and their victims; at least for a while. I must admit that it was pleasurable to turn that party of my brain off for a while!
I hope you, too, will fall in love with my favorite person: “Sheena: Queen of the Streets.”
Other novels:
“A Little Murder in the Biggest Little City”
“The Holiday Killer”
“A Brother’s Revenge”
And soon to be published: “Four More Years”
