The only truth which Donald Trump possesses is that if you don’t play by his rules, you will not be allowed to play in his game. He is a fascist who demands his way, accepts no ideas from others, and rejects criticism with personal attacks and vile forms of retribution. His temperament is tantamount to that of Adolf Hitler; if you criticize him, he would have you killed if there was any possibility.
In recent statements Trump has attacked his detractors in the Republican Party; and the number is growing as I write this article. The failed businessman declared that any individual who fails to support him will not have a voice at ‘his’ convention.
“If there’s no endorsement, then I not invite them to speak,” the presumptive GOP nominee told The New York Times in an interview published Sunday.
He has declared that it is his ‘ball,’ his game, and his convention.
Trump is obviously referring to the growing number of delegates who report that they will “vote their conscience” and not cast their ballots for Trump. Non-hypocrites in the Republican Party have pledged to defeat Trump at any cost to save the reputation and future of their party.
Trump sees it differently: “You mean to tell me we’re going to get the largest vote in the history of the Republican primaries, and now the same people that either didn’t run or got beaten in a landslide are going to try and back-end?” Trump told the Times. “My supporters are tremendously loyal to me. They would not stand for it.”
That’s true. Trump’s supporters share his racist and bigoted beliefs, deny the Constitution, and the will of the majority of the American people.
Many Republicans have planned to speak at the convention, including John Kasich and Ted Cruz. No one has been informed regarding the content of their text. Can Trump refuse to allow them time in front of the cameras and before fellow “Republicans?” Is he in complete control of the GOP?
Sadly; it appears to be a fact that Trump is now the leader of a once Grand Old Party.
