Hated by Hundreds of Republican Delegates: Trump Reveals Desperation for the Convention

Q L Arena

Nearly anyone who is anybody in the Republican Party will not be attending the convention which begins on July 18th. Trump is angry, desperate, and lacks the support of the establishment.

Not attending the “party” are the last two Republican presidents, and the last two Republican nominees. The Bush family, John McCain, and Mitt Romney will stay away from the ‘greatest reality show on earth.’ No one can blame them; who would want to be associated with the most vile and unqualified candidate in the history of our nation? His supporters share his egregious racism and bigotry, and no true Republican will allow themselves to be labeled a “Trumpster.”

Traditionally, party loyalists offer speeches celebrating the qualities and proposals of the presumptive nominee, beginning with lesser known Republicans, and culminating with the “big guns;” those who have represented the party in the past and attained levels of glory. This will not happen at this month’s convention.

So, what is Trump to do? His only reason for attempting to gain the presidency is his desperate need for adulation from the public. He has a plan.

Trump announced Friday that his wife and children “are all going to be speaking” at the nominating convention. He also announced that sports figures, (not always known for their intellect), and other ‘celebrities’ will be speaking in support of his candidacy.

The fact that no one wants to speak in front of a huge national audience, while protestors inside and outside of Quicken Loans Arena is no surprise. Anyone who supports a Trump candidacy is fully aware that they are joined with him in support of racism bigotry, Islamophobia, and misogyny. They will also be known as politicians who fail to support the Constitution, and the principles of our founding fathers.

Trump will have the support of “not-so-great Americans” such as Sarah Palin, Chris Christie, Ann Coulter, and Newt Gingrich. He must be proud.

Outside of the main floor, hundreds of delegates will be planning strategy to forbid Trump from receiving the nomination, but can they succeed? That is the big question. Since the primaries began in February, failed Republican leadership has attempted to dethrone the party’s leader. Their most extreme effort was to support Ted Cruz, the most hated man in Washington, and when that final resort failed, they decided to support their worst nightmare in a desperate attempt to defeat Hillary Clinton.

Let’s tell the truth here; truth the media will never tell you. The GOP is terminally ill. Regardless of the results at the convention and in November, the Republican Party will never be whole again. With the advent of the TEA Party in 2010, the GOP moved so far to the right that it is unable to see the center where progress for America is accomplished. Intelligent Republicans are aware that without accomplishing anything in the last seven-plus years, the American people are blaming the GOP for the destruction of our government and our democracy.

“Trumpenstein” began in earnest during that year, and is now the creation of those extremists and obstructionist. When the Chairman of the RNC, Reince Priebus is owned by the Koch brothers, who created the TEA Party, the end of the GOP began; Trump is merely the symbol for why it has imploded.

As an Independent, I am genuinely sad. America is a better country when we have to parties with contrasting ideas who deliberate, compromise, and eventually pass legislation for the good of all of our nation’s people. The creation of “red and blue states” signified the end of the United States of America.
