Rush Limbaugh has always been so far to the right, that he is always wrong. Maybe he finally found a single truth, but not exactly the way he intends it. He claims that if the United States denies the Constitution, and collectively supports racism, bigotry, and xenophobia, and elects Donald Trump, anger not seen before from the ‘left’ will flood the nation.
This is the truth, but not because those who chose to deny the America of our founding fathers elected him, it would be the fact that the United States had been destroyed from within.
“America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves.” Abraham Lincoln
Trump stands for everything America is not. He is the creation of the failed Republican Party, and an embarrassment to all true Americans.
“I think people are going to be shocked at the degree to which the left intends to intimidate people into reversing that result,” said Limbaugh. “I think they’re going to do everything they can to see it that Trump never does get inaugurated.”
The pompous windbag claims the anger will arise from frustration. The fact is that the resulting revolution would be the result of patriotism. The United States cannot be ruled by a fascist.
For the last 24 years I have watched the once Grand Old Party degenerate, but I never believed it would fall below the levels of all morality and sink into depravity. To allow a repugnant man such as Trump to receive the Republican nomination for our nation’s highest office is unforgivable. “Trumpenstein” is the creation of the destruction of the Republican Party. For the last seven years it has attempted to ‘hang on’ to the last vestiges of its once principled and constructive elements, but Trump has proven that all is lost.
Limbaugh has always been the most egregious prevaricator, and divisive person in America. His radical and misleading rants have influenced others to mimic his malicious beliefs. Ann Coulter, Glenn Beck, Sarah Palin, and Laura Ingram are all spawn of the worst citizen in our nation.
“My sense is that there isn’t going to be any peace. There’s going to be anger. There is going to be rage,” he said. “And it’s not just because it’s Trump. Trump will be icing on the cake. It could be anybody. If Hillary Clinton loses. If the left, if the Democrats lose, it won’t matter so much who wins. It’s just the fact that they lost, they’re not going to tolerate it.”
The previous statement is the perfect example of Limbaugh’s ego and his ability to take lying to a new level. Only a despicable non-human such as Trump could inspire such a degree of hatred and anger. Progressives are overwhelmingly anti-war, and anti-violence, but they would emulate their Republican brothers if a non-American was allowed to soil the White House sheets.
Because I am a baby boomer, I grew up in times when all Americans believed in the Constitution and the Pledge of Allegiance. I cannot allow a man who disagrees with the contents of a patriotic pledge I made every day before school, and our nation’s most treasured document, guaranteeing human rights for all Americans, to destroy the very fabric of the United States of America.
Ignorance and hatred are not qualifications for the presidency; and sadly, these are the only qualities attributable to Trump.
I do not know Limbaugh’s age, but I constantly hope that he is close to ending his existence on this earth, which has caused enormous fear, anger, and hatred, resulting in a nation divided.
