If you have an average IQ, and you deny emotional warfare, you are convinced that Donald Trump must not be allowed to win in November. Although this is the truth, it is also a fact that our nation cannot have anyone who calls themselves a Republican residing in the White House. All of the issues most important to our nation, and the world, would be ignored in favor of special interests.

Regardless of what Republicans attempt to make us believe, climate change is the greatest danger to the world. ISIS and Al Qaeda are but an irritation compared to what will happen if governments fail to become serious about the environment of our planet.

Major corporations would like to continue polluting our water, earth and air for a single purpose; increased profits. Their lobbyists have the ears of Republican politicians, and if they gain control of both houses and the presidency, drilling in our oceans and pristine wilderness areas will increase. Fracking will be at the will of big oil, and our already dwindling fresh water supplies will cease to exist.

With Republicans in control, the NRA gun lobby will receive guarantees that no new gun laws will be passed. Our nation will continue to experience mass shootings at a rate of more than one a day. It will be unsafe to go to the grocery store, see a movie, go out to dinner or a nightclub, attend church, or send your child to school.

Income inequality will widen. More Americans will become billionaires, and more families will fall into poverty. There will be no federal minimum wage increase, and those barely surviving will lose their battles.

Health insurance will once again be a privilege for the wealthy alone, and millions of Americans will perish before their time without the ability to seek adequate medical care. Older Americans will literally ‘rot and die’ when their Medicare benefits are reduced.

The LGBT community will be denied their right to equal protection under the law as same-sex marriages become void.

All abortions will become illegal, and low-income and poor women will be under the control of the government in relation to control over their own bodies. “Back alley abortions” will once again become the norm, resulting in a growing number of deaths from the unsafe procedures.

Stricter laws will be established to eliminate the voting rights of minorities.

Higher education will only be available to wealthy Americans, and any form of affirmative action will be revoked.

Nearly 12 million undocumented workers will remain in limbo without access to legal residence. Corporations, and corporate farms will continue to pay them a few dollars an hour, ‘under the table,’ and they and their employers will not contribute to social security, Medicare, or unemployment insurance. No taxes will be collected.

And, finally, our nation will once again rush to an unwinnable war in the Middle East, and possibly North Korea; and we’ll be alone in the world as our former allies desert the United States. We will be forced to use nuclear weapons, and the result would be WWIII.

If you think I’m exaggerating, vote for anyone with an “R” next to their names and watch what happens; it won’t take long to completely destroy our nation.
