If you know anything about FOX Noise and its President, Roger Ailes, you cannot be surprised that a total of seven women have filed sexual harassment charges against him as of this day. The officials and entertainment personalities are a group lacking in morals, and, honestly put; the ability to tell the truth.
Rumors have circulated around the fake-news network for years, but when former FOX celebrity Gretchen Carlson filed charges against Ailes recently, I predicted that the flood gates would blow open.
Only two of the additional six women have come forward to the media. They cite Ailes’ demands for sexual favors to receive employment and promotions.
The Republican “propaganda machine” has been well-known as a fallacious and bias entertainment network. It appears that Ailes is following in the footsteps of other corrupt and immoral Republicans.
Until now, FOX has been very adept at covering up scandals. When their number one personality, Bill O’Reilly, was exposed as a fraudulent journalist and author, the story disappeared in less than two weeks. Part of the reason it never reached a high level of discussion was the media’s penchant to protect its own. O’Reilly is a multi-millionaire from salary, and sales of his now-proven “fictitious books.”
I know some are asking if this is the end of FOX Noise. I don’t believe so. The Republican Party desperately needs FOX to brainwash voters for their elections. The entertainment network’s continued spread of fear through lies and misdirection is one of the primary reasons the GOP wins any contests in the House or Senate. Without its support, the TEA Party would not have been able to fracture the party with its extremist actions. “Doing nothing” is not good politics or good government.
FOX will remain a tool of the right wing. Roger Ailes will likely disappear, but the network will survive. Evil dies slowly.
