Media is Misleading the American People Regarding Clinton and Sanders

Dems

During production meetings prior to their “news broadcasts,” network executives obviously stress two goals, politically. They will continue to stress the lack of unity within Donald Trump’s party, and manufacture a separation between Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders.

The truth is that nothing can heal the Republican Party. A group of men and women who claim to be members of the GOP have strayed far from the principles and ideals of their predecessors. Both political parties have moved further to the right, but Republicans have become extremists and refuse to deliberate and compromise; a system which had worked for over 200 years.

There is no animosity between Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders. First of all, both candidates are experienced and knowledgeable regarding the needs and wants of the majority of our nation’s people. Secondly, their position on the important issues have always remained similar. Finally, they have never targeted personal attacks towards each other.

Disagreement on the issues is what a presidential campaign is all about, and this has continued to occur throughout the campaign season. Democrats have conducted themselves respectfully, while their Republican opponents have ignored the issues and directed vile and demeaning personal attacks towards each other. They have used these same despicable methods in their attempts to defeat their Democratic opponents. They have nothing else.

Bernie Sanders’ campaign inspired formerly lackadaisical Democrats to become involved. He will urge these same men and women to support Ms. Clinton. They strongly believe in the issues they share, and are dedicated to defeat a dangerous and unqualified Donald Trump. I am proud to support both of them. Their efforts to serve the majority of the American people is admirable, unlike Trump who has only sought personal gain, including from the suffering of millions of Americans during the destruction of the housing market.

The American people must ignore the media. Its omissions are as disreputable as a blatant lie. This is the year when Democrats must take back our government and restore both common sense and a work ethic to Washington. The need for experience cannot be overrated. This is not the time to elect a failed businessman as the leader of the free world based on emotions.

A vote against Trump is a vote for America. He has no interest in protecting the Constitutional rights of all Americans. His promises are no more than rhetoric. If his supporters believe that his three major ambitions will come to fruition, they are sorely mistaken. He cannot build his wall. He will not deport nearly 12 million undocumented workers. Muslims will not be forbidden entrance to our nation.

Common sense triumphs over emotions in every instance. Trump is wrong for our nation, and wrong for his own party.
