Let’s call two efforts by desperate Republicans what they are: “Bullshit.” They know they can’t defeat her on the issues, and that they have offered the worst candidate in history for the 2016 election, so they continue their attempts to force legal action against a woman who worked for this country and its people while they sat on their hands, collected paychecks, and failed to do anything while in elected office.
The Benghazi tragedy has wasted time and taxpayer dollars for years, and has produced nothing that was not known six months after the horrific incident. The use of Hillary Clinton’s e-mails has revealed serious mistakes, but no criminal intent. That won’t stop fearful and failed Republicans from continuing their pursuit of their efforts to keep Hillary from once again living in the White House.
FBI Director James Comey, who first worked for the Bush Administration, (the bad one, not the good one), indicated that Ms. Clinton did not intentionally use her e-mails to engage in the sending or receiving of classified information. Therefore, when she testified before Congress, she was testifying to the best of her knowledge. But that hasn’t stopped two men, who call themselves Republicans, from filing additional charges against the former First Lady, Senator, and Secretary of State.
Republican Representatives Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah), and Bob Goodlatte (R-Va.), have written a letter to a United States Attorney claiming that Ms. Clinton committed perjury during testimony regarding her e-mails before the House.
It has become evident that Republicans will challenge whether or not Ms. Clinton was ever cited for jaywalking; anything to detract from the facts and issues of this election.
The FBI director has said it was possible Clinton “didn’t understand what a ‘C’ meant when she saw it in the body of an email like that.” And a State Department spokesman has said two documents might have been incorrectly marked as classified, though it is not clear if he and the FBI are referring to the same materials.
This election season has been the most egregious example of a failed political system in our nation’s history. It is not entirely the fault of the parties, or the individuals involved. The fourth estate, the major media, who the American people expect to offer truthful information and refrain from comments and opinions, has failed to make the election about the issues. Instead they support the theatrics of Donald Trump and the desperation of the Republican Party. It’s always about the money, and in this case that means advertising.
CBS, NBC, ABC, MSNBC, FOX, and others are the culprits this year. Without intentional support of Donald Trump, he would never have become the party’s standard bearer. These fake news networks support racism, bigotry, misogyny, and xenophobia. They ignore the fact that America is in a dire situation. This election will decide if our nation moves forward or if the dream of our forefathers is forever crushed by the evil forces inside of America.
Constantly reporting the bashing of Hillary Clinton by Republicans denies the right of the American people to know where the candidates stand on the issues most important to them.
I am proud to be a voice of reason and the truth. I obviously do not make millions of dollars a year like Bill O’Reilly, Scott Pelly, Lester Holt, or David Muir. But I tell the truth and respect those who read my information.
