I have often wondered why the Ku Klux Klan has never been recognized for what they are; a traitorous and terrorist organization. Their extreme racism and failure to recognize the laws of our nation qualify them to be placed on the FBI watch list. They should not be allowed to fly on commercial aircraft, and they should not be allowed to own firearms. But Congress and law enforcement ignore these facts.
Today on “CBS This Morning,” the Dallas Police Chief praised Black Lives Matter for their peaceful acts of protest prior to the unforgiveable attack on Dallas Police by a lone, deranged gunman. However, a group of racists, likely inspired by FOX Noise, wants President Obama to designate Black Lives Matter a terrorist organization. Really?
Thanks to Donald Trump’s large number of supporters, we are aware that millions of men and women are openly racist and bigoted in the United States; and prejudice appears to be on the rise. More than 100,000 whites across the nation signed the petition. I guarantee you that all of these un-Americans will be voting for Trump.
Most Republicans and viewers of FOX Noise believe the lies they hear and see. Denial of the fact that black Americans are treated differently than whites by law enforcement will not make it go away.
Some also believe that this is a new phenomenon; they would be very wrong. This is a decades old problem. It has been exposed for a singular reason; everyone has a camera today. Video doesn’t lie.
Racist members of law enforcement are a small percentage of those hired to protect and serve the public. Everyone who is aware of the problem agrees that more comprehensive training is necessary, and must include public relations courses. I believe that a psychological evaluation by an independent contractor must be a part of the process. If a tendency towards anger, rage, violence, or racism is discovered, that individual must not be allowed to wear a badge and carry a gun.
Do you find it strange that both Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders called for complete judicial reform in our nation, and not a single Republican candidate stated that this is a necessity? The fact that some in law enforcement use excessive force against black men and women is just the tip of the iceberg.
If we compare a single crime committed by a white, middle class man or woman, with the same crime committed by a low income or impoverished black man or woman, the punishment is seldom fair and balanced. If we look at the same crime, committed by a wealthy man or woman, or a politician, it is highly unlikely that they will receive punishment in any form.
Justice is not blind. She is aware of the cost of your haircut, your clothing, and your attorney.
The media is once again failing the American people. Not only will they not report this story, or even the fact that a petition exists, they will not inform our nation’s people regarding the growth of racism in the United States.
FOX Noise and Republican politicians continue to claim that racism exists among only a few Americans. Denying the facts is tantamount to condoning this spreading disease.
I will always find it disgusting when organizations which are attempting to right a wrong in America are denounced, while white men wearing hoods and burning wooden crosses are not vilified for their criminal actions towards a single race of Americans.
In case you haven’t heard, the KKK has endorsed Donald Trump.
