I was flipping channels the other day, and happened to see the title “Orange is the new Black.” It made me think about the constant and erroneous attacks on both President Obama and Hillary Clinton by Donald Trump. When Trump criticizes our President, it is from ignorance. He has absolutely no understanding of how our government functions. There is no way Trump could perform the duties of Mr. Obama. The most important, and most difficult job in the world cannot be handed to a man who is no more than “hot air.” The American people cannot allow the “orange man” to replace our black President.
Attacking anyone is easy, but offering solutions to claims of poor decisions or actions is the only way to validate criticism. Trump has complained about everything; nothing has been excluded, including the words of our Constitution. He has not offered a single resolution for what he perceives as a failed presidency.
The truth is that he is simply mirroring the rest of the Republican Party. They continue to deny the facts. A Republican president received a surplus when he entered office in 2001, and in eight years placed the nation in trillions of dollars of debt through failed economic programs. Our nation’s people suffered the greatest recession since the depression of 1929. We were engaged in two unwinnable wars in which thousands of our finest men and women lost their lives, and billions of dollars were thrown away.
Today, the United States is in recovery. Unemployment is at a much lower rate; the stock market has hit record highs, and businesses are recording record profits. It always requires a Democrat to undo the mistakes of a Republican. Our last two Democratic Presidents, Bill Clinton, and Barrack Obama repaired the damage caused by the failed economic policies of Ronald Reagan, who had passed them onto George H. W. Bush, and the disasters of George W. Bush from 2001 until 2009.
Financial experts have analyzed Trump’s tax plan. They report that it would be very beneficial to the wealthy, which includes Trump, would not aid the middle class, and would add trillions of dollars to the national debt.
Republicans have attacked President Obama from his first day in office; for no valid reasons. They failed to work with him to repair the damage to our economy which was the result of their president. They never offered a single solution. For nearly eight years they have been obstructionists and failed to offer a single positive idea; the opposite continues. Republicans have worked to destroy the beneficial changes for the majority of the American people by Congress over the previous 60 years. Extremism results in failed government.
Trump’s lack of experience is a danger to our nation and the world. His racist and bigoted views of America are a danger to the very fabric of America.
Trump cannot replace President Obama. Trump is not fit to shine his shoes.
The “orange man” is a buffoon, not a viable candidate to become the leader of the free world.
