I am not by nature an angry man. I refuse to allow the weakness of emotions to control my personality or my life. However, my disgust with the media during this campaign season is moving me towards my fears.

The media is to be blamed for both this demeaning campaign season, and the rise of “Trumpenstein.” All those who call themselves ‘journalists’ refuse to reveal the façade which is Donald Trump; and the late night talk show hosts are adding to Trump’s success.

The only coverage given to Hillary Clinton is in relation to the tragedy of Benghazi, and her use of personal e-mail accounts. They have created and maintained an effort by Republicans to discredit Ms. Clinton for making honest mistakes. Instead of discussing the issues Ms. Clinton proposes, the media is perpetuating efforts to harm Hillary based on personality and not on substance.

It appears that the 2016 campaign will never be about the issues. The fault belongs to the mainstream media which loves Donald Trump and promotes him, while criticizing Clinton. They are intentionally misdirecting the American people away from discussions of the important needs of the nation’s people.

Trump cannot win if the media forces him to answer direct questions. “It’s going to be huge;” “we’ll make it better;” or “it will be big;” are not answers. He has no position on the issues.

The media is responsible for much of the evil in our nation. The purpose of these television personalities is to sell advertising, not report the facts about all issues.

When I need to find out what is happening in my own nation and the world, I must research credible publications in the United States and around the world. Stories which should be reported by the media in America are often censored. I discover them from sources outside of the United States.

Yesterday I wrote about a petition sent to President Obama to label ‘Black Lives Matter’ a terrorist group. More than 100,000 racists signed the petition, verifying a growth of racism in the United States. This was not reported by mainstream media in any venue. I found it in a Russian newspaper. It was fact checked and deemed to be accurate.

I have written about the dangers of GMOs and fracking; the media has never informed the American people about the truth.

The truth today is that Hillary Clinton will make a great president. She will serve the working class; not special interests. She will fight for the equality of women in all facets of American life, and protect the Constitutional rights of all Americans. Hillary will challenge the NRA and pass sensible gun laws. Our children will be able to afford a college education. Tax reform will decrease income inequality. Judicial reform will force the courts and law enforcement to treat all Americans equally. She has proven her ability to negotiate with our allies and our enemies.

Donald Trump is a member of the one-percent; he will serve his peers. He loves wars, even the nuclear variety.
