The Intellect of Ruth Bader Ginsburg vs Trump’s Buffoonery

Supreme Court Justice, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, denounced the media for its failure to reveal the failings of Donald Trump. This is the second time she spoke about the presidential wannabee; and she has some truthful and damning remarks pertaining to the ‘orange man.’

“He is a faker,” she said of the presumptive Republican presidential nominee, going point by point, as if presenting a legal brief. “He has no consistency about him. He says whatever comes into his head at the moment. He really has an ego. … How has he gotten away with not turning over his tax returns? The press seems to be very gentle with him on that.”

Trump tweeted that ‘she should resign.’

If we had a truthful and informative media, Trump would not have won the Republican nomination. It was gifted to him by members of the “press” who have given him five-times more news coverage than any other candidate. While supporting Trump, they are failing the American people by not challenging him on the issues, and exposing his lies.

If you believe what you see on television, you are no less than a fool. The truth is that Trump is a danger to the American way of life, and a danger to world peace.

This same media continues to offer misleading polls; polls taken from biased individuals. If he lacks the support of nearly every demographic, how could he be near Hillary Clinton in anyone’s survey?

Justice Ginsburg’s remarks were first reported on Monday.

“I can’t imagine what this place would be — I can’t imagine what the country would be — with Donald Trump as our president,” she had said in the Times interview published Monday.

I can imagine, but I don’t want to. It is a sad fact that we would have an openly racist man living in the White House. The fact that his supporters are aligned with Trump reveal the fact that our nation is becoming more racist and bigoted, not less.

Because Trump listens to no one else, and seeks revenge against his detractors, a Trump presidency would become fascist; our democracy would be forever destroyed. His temperament would isolate us in the world. Our allies and our enemies would refuse to discuss issues with the ‘orange man’ living in the White House.

Trump does not believe in the words or the intent of our Constitution. He would revoke the first and fourteenth amendments during his first week in office.

After Trump revealed his tax plan, we know that income inequality would widen; the wealthy would continue to receive tax breaks; and the deficit would be increased by trillions. The division of our nation’s people, which began during the Bush Administration, would become more severe.

Trump would not ‘make America great again,’ he would destroy what remains.
