It was announced today that Donald Trump has chosen Indiana Governor, and extreme homophobe, Mike Pence as his running mate. Insiders claimed that the choice was between Pence and failed, former Speaker of the House, Newt Gingrich.
Newt remains on my list of failed Republicans who should never again talk to the press and offer their opinions; they are always wrong. He is nothing but a pompous egomaniac who is a criminal and a philanderer. His opinions are not pertinent or valid in today’s United States.
Next is the half-governor of Alaska who should have crawled away in shame after she lost the election for John McCain in 2008. McCain’s choice of Sarah Palin lowered the IQ level of an entire party for a generation. She lacks the ability to speak coherently, has never offered a single positive idea, and her only talent is poking gibberish at progressives. Some once believed her attempt to be “folksy” was cute; she’s far too old for that now.
Then there’s Ann Coulter. If there is a more angry or evil woman in the world, I am unable to name her. So much evil comes out of her mouth, I expect that someday the authorities will discover that she is a serial killer. Her world is composed of hatred and lies. She harbors opinions so wretched and so extreme they hurt my ears.
Glenn Beck continues failed attempts to remain in the news. He was a poor actor on FOX, and is now simply a “never was.” His overly emotional rants were an embarrassment to himself, FOX, and the nation.
I would be remiss if I didn’t include Dick Cheney on my list. We know that for eight long years the American people were forced to listen to his opinions. We are now aware that every word which came out of his mouth was a blatant lie. He was undoubtedly the architect of the Iraqi invasion; proven by the fact that his former company, Haliburton, was given a lucrative “no-bid” contract during the “war.” He authorized the CIA to torture suspected terrorists, in direct opposition to the morals of our nation. It was Cheney who suggested the use of fear tactics to win elections. And it was Cheney who ignored the warnings of our nation’s top intelligence officials before the attacks on September 11, 2001.
I can’t leave out Rudy Giuliani. Giuliani fails to have a single accomplishment on his resume, with the exception of being a philanderer. His only “shining moment” was his role as the Mayor of New York City during the 9/11 attacks.
Recently Giuliani revealed his racist views during a time when our country should have united against the evil which exists in our nation.
Seth Meyers; former cast member of SNL, and now the host of “Late Night,” denounced Giuliani’s remarks on his show.
RUDY GIULIANI: “If I were a black father and I was concerned of my child, really concerned about it, and not in a politically activist sense, I would say, “be very respectful of the police. most of them are good. some can be very bad. and just be very careful.” I’d also say, ‘Be very careful of those kids in the neighborhood and don’t get involved with them, because son, there’s a 99% chance they’re going to kill you, not the police.’”
MEYERS: “Okay, first of all, don’t ever start a sentence with the phrase, “if I were a black father.” If you are black father, you don’t need to say it. And if you’re not, you should probably just shut the f**k up. And if Giuliani’s willing to say that some police can be very bad, you would think he’d see the value in the Black Lives Matter protests. But instead, he condemned them.”
Giuliani later called Black Lives Matter a ‘racist organization.’
There you have it my ‘partial’ list of “has beens,” and “never were.” They all had their “ten minutes of fame;” now they must go away.
