Who knew? The ‘fair and balanced’ network is actually a tool of the Republican Party? Really? Personally, I’m shocked! And of all people to expose the truth; their number two stooge, Sean Hannity. Network news will never be the same for me. I don’t know who to trust anymore.
The revelation came last Wednesday morning. Hannity had Newt Gingrich flown out to Indianapolis on a private jet owned by FOX Noise. The purpose for traveling was a meeting with the Republican standard bearer, Donald Trump. This just gets more disappointing. To reveal bias for one party’s leader over the other is unheard of in the news business.
To his credit, Hannity did explain the deed.
“I have known Newt Gingrich since 1990 (I emceed his event the night he became Speaker of the House in 1994) he has been a long term, very dear friend of mine and is a private citizen. Whatever favors I do for my friends is my business.” tweeted Hannity. (Wasn’t the jet owned by FOX, or does Hannity make even more money than previously reported?)
I also discovered another unnerving fact. Hannity previously orchestrated a round of applause for Trump’s proposal to ban all Muslims from entering the United States. Once again, a complete surprise.
Hannity sees no ‘conflict of interests with his staunch support of the Republican Party. He countered with: “See the sign? It says ‘Fox News,’ not ‘Fox Corrupt and Conflicted Talk Shows.’”
Now I understand, it’s not that he’s a hypocrite, it’s just that he has a problem understanding the English language and the definitions of words such as “corruption,” and “fair and balanced.”
Okay, enough of the fun. If anyone truly believes that FOX Noise is an actual news network, they are missing parts of their brain and must seek medical attention immediately.
Republicans cannot win elections without the aid of its propaganda machine. Its lies and misdirection are the machine which operates the ‘fear factor.’ This is what they are paid for; to brainwash their viewers.
There is some good news. FOX’ loyal viewers are diminishing in number. It caters to middle-aged, and older white Americans. Millennials are now the largest single demographic in America, and they do not watch FOX or any other of the media shows which claim to report the news truthfully and accurately. Not!
When FOX eventually disbands its “news” production, Bill O’Reilly and Sean Hannity will not be receiving offers from other networks who claim to offer information regarding the day’s events.
Although other networks cannot claim to be much better than FOX, they would not denigrate their on-air personnel with the likes of these two stooges.
Well, now we all know; there can be no denying the fact that FOX is biased. We are also aware that they are lying to us while they stare at the cameras. American trust has been violated; and it’s a dam shame.
Can we believe in anything? Is Trump truly going to “make America great again;” or is that a lie too? Did he mean it when he said he would build a wall and force Mexico to pay for it? If he was lying, what is there to believe in?
Very disappointing.
