The future of our nation is hanging by a thread. It is divided even more than during the George W. Bush Administration. A large part of the reason is uninformed voters.
I was listening to some “undecided” voters in Ohio this morning. They said that neither Donald Trump nor Hillary Clinton spoke to the issues. Where have they been? They must watch television for their information.
The major media has failed voters this year, and failed them badly. They cover Trump five-times more than any other candidate. They love his attacks against President Obama, Hillary Clinton, and demographics such as Hispanics and Muslims.
Both Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders continuously laid out their plans for the American people. Those “undecided” voters obviously have not had an opportunity to listen to Ms. Clinton’s solutions for income inequality, education, equality for women, reforming our gun laws, or improving healthcare.
It is true, however, that Trump has no position on these issues. He talks about one thing today; going to war with ISIS, but he doesn’t give details.
ISIS is presently losing strongholds in the Middle East. The battle is moving to the cities of western nations and even Muslim nations. Weapons cannot defeat ISIS; only ideas which will convert its followers with the truth will end its reign of terror. Offering the truth that the leaders of ISIS have a vision of the Quran which is opposed to the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad. Hillary Clinton will work with the Muslim world to accomplish these goals.
A similar situation exists in our own nation. Those who call themselves Christians and continue to be judgmental and act from anger and hatred, do not believe in the teachings of Jesus Christ.
Hillary Clinton’s platform is focused on the working class. Trump claims that he is a member of the one-percent, and will, by his own words, represent his own kind.
The claim by many that Ms. Clinton is not ‘trustworthy,’ is completely mistaken. Republican propaganda and desperation, combined with a media which commits lies of omission, are the only reason Americans are overly critical of her past actions and mistakes. She has served the American people for her entire adult life. If she hadn’t made honest mistakes, she would have been acting like Republicans in Congress and accomplished nothing. She is human, and she is dedicated to the American people.
Trump does not have even a small chance of defeating Ms. Clinton without damaging her reputation. Republicans know this, and will never cease their attacks. But the best and most qualified candidate must lead our nation and the free world. Ms. Clinton is the most qualified presidential candidate in our nation’s history.
The only reason George W. Bush was elected in 2000, (or given the presidency by the Supreme Court; depends upon how you look at it), is the fact that Republicans claimed that he was ‘someone you’d like to have a beer with.’ I don’t vote for the man or woman who will live in the White House based on personality or likeability; I vote for the person I am certain will do a good job, and care for all of our nation’s people.
That IS Hillary Clinton.
