Above all the other reasons why the American people cannot allow Donald Trump to become the President of the United States, is the fact that he promotes terrorism. His hate-filled policies would make our nation and the world more vulnerable to acts of terrorism. This is the danger of even the consideration of electing a man who has no experience and no understanding of reality.
There is no room in the White House for an incompetent and ignorant man. The first day of his convention was as predicted; no substance, many attacks. Although the media praised Melania Trump, the truth is that she was unimpressive as her speech involved nothing but hyperboles.
There will be no substance to this convention because their nominee has no substance. He is a shell, with nothing inside to offer our nation or the world. Trump has had more than his 10 minutes of fame; time to go back to your golden tower.
Each day I become more angry at the media and its failure to offer the truth to the American people. As Trump continues to spread his hatred, only those such as myself denounce him for his dangerous rhetoric. As Trump denigrates all Muslims, he is acting as a recruiter for additional terrorists. His ignorance regarding the root of the evil which exists around the world is dangerous and encourages additional attacks by misguided extremists.
Trump’s hijacking of the GOP has forever damaged the image of Republicans. They will forever be known as the party of racism, hatred, and extremists. Intelligent Republicans are burning their membership cards and choosing to become Independents. No one who believes in America and American principles can support Trump. He embodies everything in our past which was in opposition to our Constitution. Trump supports an end to the achievements of the civil rights movement of the 1960’s. He rejects the policies of Ronald Reagan and George H. W. Bush who gave amnesty to millions of undocumented workers. Trump would deny the right of all Americans to practice any religion which was not labeled “Christian.”
ISIS and Al Qaeda are hoping for a Trump win in November. They will receive thousands of new members without the need to radicalize them. Trump will do their job for them.
Trump’s supporters share Trump’s lack of morality, his anger, and his hatred. For me, this is more frightening than the fact that the Republican Party is about to nominate the most unqualified and disreputable candidate in our nation’s history. What has happened to a nation once composed of forward thinking, compassionate, and tolerant men and women who respected the principles of our founding fathers?
The United States has become a country of cults. We are a weak-minded nation which accepts the rants of extremists without seeking the truth. Millions of Americans have become brainwashed by the evil lies spread by FOX Noise, Rush Limbaugh, and now Donald Trump.
I challenge the media’s celebrity journalists to tell the truth. They should be emulating the greats of the past such as Walter Cronkite and Edward R. Murrow who refused to accept bullshit, and informed the American people of the facts. Not a single reputable journalist has ever condemned the administration of George W. Bush for its criminal actions, and the destabilization of the Middle East. They continue to allow Republicans to accuse President Obama and Hillary Clinton for their president’s failures
Trump is the greatest danger to the world today. He would allow terrorism to grow. In support of big business climate change would become irreversible. Minorities would suffer from the reversal of gains accomplished in the last 60 years. Women would continue to be second and even third class citizens.
