It doesn’t matter if you are watching Charlie Rose, Scott Pelley, Chuck Todd, or any other “journalist,” no one can claim to be a “newsman” today. The job of those who offer the American people ‘news’ is to inform them while being accurate and truthful.
Why am I angry? We all should be. The media’s continuous support of Donald Trump, while failing to point to the truth, is nothing less than traitorous.
While they support Trump, the reports about Republican’s failed efforts to discredit Hillary Clinton regarding Benghazi and the use of her personal e-mails are never ending.
Ms. Clinton talks about the issues and speaks the truth; the truth the media refuses to offer to the American people. While ‘entertainers’ on the news networks are finding ways to increase ratings, Ms. Clinton is exposing Trump’s racism, bigotry, lies, and most importantly, his total lack of qualifications to become the leader of the free world.
This new breed of “newscasters” is spineless. Are they afraid to ask Trump how he will defeat ISIS, and demand a direct answer? Is he one of less than five percent of the people in the world who deny climate change? What about affordable higher education? Economists state that his tax plan will increase income inequality by favoring the wealthy and increasing the deficit. Is he sticking to that plan? He wants to repeal the Affordable Care Act and take away healthcare for millions of Americans; does he plan to replace it? And how?
What about Trump’s plan to allow all nations to have nuclear weapons? Is this the idea of a sane man? I’m old enough to remember “13 days in October” when I was afraid a bomb would land on my head and destroy my family and my future. Hundreds of millions of people around the world have marched to eliminate the threat of nuclear annihilation, and he wants to grow the danger. He is the dullest tool in the shed, and is not qualified to be a shoeshine boy.
If the media allows Trump to infest the White House, they will be to blame for the destruction of our nation and making the world a far more dangerous place.
He obviously knows nothing about economics. His bigotry towards nearly 12 million undocumented workers, and his desire to deport them, will cost our nation billions of dollars. The deportation alone would cost over 300 billion dollars. In addition, he is removing the income for our nation generated by legalizing these men, women, and children. They would have paid into social security, Medicare, healthcare, and their employers would have been forced to pay them no less than minimum wage, increasing our nation’s tax revenue.
The media is composed of wusses and traitors who fail to tell the truth and offer facts to the American people.
Hillary Clinton may be dull, but she has always served the American people. Her proposals for our nation’s future would positively affect all of our nation’s people; not just Donald Trump and his fellow one-percenters.
Because the media is greedy and uncaring about the future, individuals, such as myself, must keep you informed.
Use your vote wisely; leave your emotions in the closet.
