Trump Wins White House: Loses Lawsuit and Faces Criminal Charges

Ignorance breed ignorance

Will the title of this article be a headline in late November? If the unthinkable happens, and Trump wins on November 8th, he will face two charges of fraud in federal court later in the month. Lawsuits filed against “Trump University” will be heard after the election. A final attempt by Donald Trump’s lawyers to have the lawsuits dismissed have been denied by the judge Trump attacked with racist remarks. U.S. District Judge Gonzalo Curiel made the decision in San Diego yesterday.

The two class action lawsuits filed in California were filed by dissatisfied ‘students’ who believe they were defrauded by Trump. An additional lawsuit has been filed in New York State.

The “university” consisted of seminars similar to Amway conventions. There was no classroom instruction, and Trump seldom appeared at the lectures. Those who enrolled believe that promises made by Trump were not kept.

Wouldn’t this be interesting if after the lawsuits were settled, the federal government made the decision to file criminal charges against the president-elect of the United States? It’s not impossible.

The media has failed to reveal Trump’s questionable business practices. Not only has he filed for bankruptcy four times, he has faced multiple lawsuits for failing to pay for services rendered. Many of his real estate developments have been controversial. Surrounding businesses and residents were angry with Trump for the destruction of many things including environmental conditions.

It is very possible that we will have a criminal living in the White House. This, added to the fact that he is a racist, a bigot, and a misogynist, will reveal the fact that American voters are uninformed and have no interest in their own future. They expect government to make all decisions and take actions which will serve and protect them.

The Democratic Convention begins on Monday. It cannot be a bigger farce than the Republican debacle, but it could fail to excite voters. Hillary Clinton has many positive attributes, including experience and knowledge, but she is not inspirational. Now that she has chosen Senator Timothy Kaine as her running mate, Democrats will view a very bland team on Thursday. Will they be able to defeat a buffoon in November?

Personally, I’m not sure if Hillary and Kaine can win. Logic, and common sense say that Trump will lose badly; but this has not been a traditional campaign season. The American people have proven that anger at our government can propel a completely unqualified candidate to levels not believed possible.

Why not a criminal in the White House? Republicans elected Nixon and George W. Bush; can Trump be worse?

The answer is ‘yes.’
