Donald Trump tells us that he is “smart.” But with every day he proves that he’s not very bright. Without the ability to campaign on the issues, he continues to make fallacious and misleading attacks on everyone who opposes him. His weak temperament is forcing emotions to control any intelligence he possesses.
He most recently criticized Bernie Sanders for endorsing Hillary Clinton, calling her ‘the devil.’ A strange name coming from the man who is most certainly the mentally challenged son of Lucifer.
Regarding endorsements, Trump was despised by his fellow Republicans throughout the primary season, until he became the party’s presumptive nominee. Then these same men and women became hypocrites and placed the future of their party and the nation ahead of the welfare of our nation.
For just a moment, ignore all the evil rhetoric and take a close look at those who support Trump and what they have done for America.
Sarah Palin turned out to be a bad joke played on the American people by John McCain. She is the symbol of the worst of our nation’s people who would destroy the American way of life and replace it with rule by white Christians. She is one of the reasons why our nation is experiencing the “dumbing down of America.”
Only one person in America can match the hatred of America by Ann Coulter. She would destroy all that makes our country a unique nation. For her, diversity and individual freedom are a cancer on our nation.
Rush Limbaugh is Coulter’s twin. This ‘has-been’ radio host is unable to resurrect his evil and distorted career. His audience is aging and dying; and if they supported his anti-American beliefs, that’s a good thing. His ignorance has become legendary. He recently stated that he believes that naked pictures of Melania Trump will win the election in November.
Rudy Giuliani lacks a single accomplishment as the Mayor of New York, with the exception of being in office during the attacks on 9/11. He was having an affair while in office and his only aid to the city was empty rhetoric. His relentless attacks at the Republican Convention were an embarrassment for everyone who was forced to listen.
Affairs are perfectly acceptable to Newt Gingrich. The former Speaker of the House was forced to resign after ethics violations. He divorced his first wife because she was not “attractive enough.” He served divorce papers to his second wife while she was in the hospital fighting cancer, and while he was openly having an affair. The reason: she wouldn’t agree to an ‘open marriage.’
His own vice-presidential candidate, Mike Pence, denounced Trump and favored Ted Cruz, until he was selected to be Trump’s running mate. He is best known for becoming one of the first Republican governors to establish anti-gay laws in Indiana.
“A man is judged by the company he keeps.” I’m not certain if Trump or his supporters are more despicable. Collectively they damage the Republican brand. The once respected GOP is now disrespected around the world, and is permanently divided.
I pity Republicans, but I don’t feel sorry for them; they allowed a buffoon to be their party’s candidate. They voted for unqualified candidates across the United States simply because they had an “R” next to their name on the ballot.
Sometimes you get what you vote for.
