Voters Would Have to Be Insane to Elect Trump After this Week

Trump II

Donald Trump; (I’m tired of typing his name; I just wish he’d go away); has had some terrible weeks, and they’ve all been because of his own vile and despicable rhetoric. This week he has reached his lowest point ever, although we must never doubt that he could do worse. Trump has insulted his party’s former presidential nominee (former prisoner of war John McCain, for allegedly turning his back on veterans!), its current Republican speaker of the House, the parents of a slain war hero, the capital city of the state that is the linchpin of his electoral strategy, and a baby.

One by one Republicans are abandoning Trump. His supporters will discover that the American people will fail to support them when they seek reelection. President Obama, and several real Republicans are calling for the entire party to denounce him. If his views of America dominate either party or our nation, the dream is gone.

There is no doubt that the Chairman of the RNC, Reince Priebus, will be forced from his position. The American people are likely to see the end of disrespected members of the GOP including Sarah Palin, Newt Gingrich, and Rudy Giuliani. They joined Trump in his anti-Republican and anti-American beliefs.

Trump may prove to be the catalyst for a “cleansing” of the Republican Party. Since 2010 it has been moving to the extreme right thanks to the infestation of the TEA Party. Not only did a small group of obstructionists divide the GOP, it caused our government to become dysfunctional. They refused to deliberate with those on the left, and compromise was not a consideration.

The Republican Party became dominated by hatred, prejudice, and a rejection of individual rights guaranteed by the Constitution. The “Party of Lincoln” ceased to exist, and eventually “Trumpenstein” was completed.

Hillary Clinton could possibly suspend her campaign efforts and relax until November 8th; Trump is defeating himself. He confirms every critical ad offered by the Democratic Party.

Trumps son Eric made a complete fool of himself yesterday morning on ‘CBS This Morning,’ as he attempted to defend his father’s words. He actually made it worse, by claiming that Trump had apologized to the Khan family for his brutal attacks. Later in the day Trump said that he “refused to apologize.”

Sean Hannity, FOX Noise’ number two stooge, adamantly defended Trump, and our nation may be spared one of its most evil prevaricators if his viewership continues to decline.

Let us be positive and hope that this disastrous campaign season will prove to be good for the majority of the American people.

Personally, I will be at my polling place when it opens on November 8th. I cannot wait to vote for Hillary Clinton; sorry, Bernie; I still love you.
