Trump has Precedence to Fear a Rigged Election

Trump II

I scoffed at Trump’s statement that he fears a rigged election in November. Your probably did as well, if you understand the voting process. But then I remembered the elections of 2000 and 2004, and believe that he may have a slightly reasonable fear.

In 2000, a Republican biased Supreme Court stopped the Florida recount and gifted George W. Bush with the presidency. Al Gore had won the popular vote, but when the Court made its decision, his chances of receiving what he had won was denied.

In 2004, the result of final importance in the Electoral College was Ohio. A documentary by HBO suggested that the machines used in that state were manufactured by a Bush supporter, and had been altered to give the win to the president once again. The documentary was never allowed to be presented in prime time, but the facts and statements by the registrar’s office proved that the election was rigged.

Regardless of Trump’s claim, this election has no opportunity to be ‘rigged’ in favor of Hillary Clinton. First of all, he is the Republican standard bearer; not a Democrat. More importantly, he is defeating himself. Those who have supported him from the beginning of his campaign remain loyal. Like Trump, they are racists and bigots who support white supremacy and the destruction of the nation of our forefathers. However, one by one, Republicans are denouncing the megalomaniac. Soon only those who place their party before their country will fail to condemn the “orange man.”

Trump has no values. In the last two days he lied about ‘a truck full of cash in Iran,’ and later admitted that he was mistaken. He refused to endorse Paul Ryan, John McCain, and Kelly Ayotte. Last night, after what was reported as a ‘screaming match’ with Republican leadership, he changed his mind. He has now endorsed all three Republicans in their reelection efforts. As his poll numbers have begun to move in the wrong direction, (the right direction for America), he is displaying increased desperation.

When he spoke about a ‘rigged election,’ he was once again exposing his fear. Every indicator has Trump losing in November. Polls, favorability ratings, and the odds makers all claim that he will be a ‘loser.’

The reality is that America has no reason to elect Trump. He has failed in business, failed in life, and has zero experience at any level of government. This is not a time in our nation’s history when we can elect a president who will need “on the job training.”

Mr. Trump, you are rigging the election in favor of Hillary Clinton. You have forced voters to reject your candidacy with un-American and prejudicial rhetoric. You have presented yourself as a mean, uninformed, and vindictive man. Your temperament is weak, and as the American people view your rash actions they are moving further and further away from your campaign. You have proven yourself to be a liar; a man who knows nothing, and a danger to the United States and the world.

Trump is right; the election is rigged, but he is the one who is guaranteeing Hillary a win in November.
