Did Trump encourage violence against Hillary Clinton? The debate rages on, mostly because of past violence during Trump rallies which was obviously caused by the candidate’s provocation. Using the only tactic available to him, Trump continued attacking Hillary with lies and innuendo.
Trump blatantly lied when he claimed that Hillary would appoint justices to the Supreme Court who would abolish the second amendment. He encouraged members of the NRA to unite against her. What was his intention?
Some believe that he was suggesting that Hillary be assassinated. Others believe that Supreme Court Justices who vote against the wishes of second amendment extremists should be eliminated. Others believe that he was referring to a political movement. Regardless, it is simply another example of Trump’s weak temperament and rash decisions.
Now let’s get to the truth. Not once has President Obama or Hillary Clinton suggested repealing the second amendment. The NRA spreads the same lies as Trump. Before the NRA became a lobby for gun manufacturers and gun sellers, it was responsible for gun safety. The NRA wrote most of our nation’s gun laws until 1976. Their lies have influenced weak-minded Americans. I am an advocate for common sense gun laws, but I would fight for the rights of Americans to possess their weapons if necessary.
I am not paranoid, and do not feel the need to own a gun. That’s my right. It’s also my right to feel safe when I shop at a store, go to a movie, or have a drink in a club or bar. There is no violation of the second amendment if comprehensive background checks are required for all gun purchases. If an individual is on the FBI’s ‘no-fly’ list, he or she should not be allowed to purchase a weapon of mass destruction. The military states that no civilian should possess the type of weapons used in combat.
Trump fails to address the issues. The one time he chose to, he reiterated the same fiscal policy of every recent Republican president; they all failed miserably. Trump knows nothing and says nothing without attacking those who oppose him.
It was laughable a few days ago when after refusing to support fellow Republicans Paul Ryan, John McCain, and Kelly Ayotte, he was forced to flip-flop and endorse them, while reading from a script.
Any intelligent, true American, knows that Trump is a joke, and would be a danger to our nation and the world. He is entirely unqualified for the presidency.
All Republicans complain about Hillary’s fiscal plan; because it makes sense. They continue to protect their owners; the one-percent. While their personal incomes have quadrupled during the great recession, they have received a ‘free ride’ from the GOP. They are not “job creators,” they are hoarders. They build factories overseas, and remove good-paying jobs from the American people.
Donald Trump and the NRA support billionaires; 536 to be exact. They do not support the working class. They lie continually. If Donald Trump’s or Wayne LaPierre’s mouths are open, they’re lying. The Bill or Rights is our most important protection. Human rights, individual rights, and our freedoms are carefully protected in the first ten amendments.
If you believe that anyone wants to take your guns away, you have been fooled by greedy and desperate men.
