Donald Trump accused President Obama and Hillary Clinton for creating ISIS. His lack of knowledge pertaining to international relations is appalling. Since the media won’t do it, I guess it’s my responsibility to educate the “orange man.”
Trump has been denounced by dozens of military experts. They claim that he is a danger to the future of our nation. Without one iota of knowledge regarding national security and international relations, Trump is not fit to be our Commander in Chief.
The facts prove that the creator of ISIS is George W. Bush. Bush and Cheney’s rash decision to invade Iraq began a chain reaction of events which has cost thousands of lives and shamed our nation.
There is no doubt that Saddam Hussein was an evil despot. What the Bush Administration failed to understand was that he was the stabilizing factor in the region. The invasion of Iraq, under false pretenses, destroyed balance in that part of the Middle East.
Sunnis were removed from power in Iraq, and the Shiites who replaced them began to take their revenge. The result was a virtual civil war. After its inception in Syria, leaders of ISIS witnessed an opportunity to annex cities in the northern party of Iraq and institute their extremist and evil views.
Syria is primarily a Sunni nation. In Iran Shiites dominate the country. Once again the security and safety of innocent people is in danger because of religious extremism.
Trump just doesn’t get it.
Let’s fact check another blatant misrepresentation by Trump; aided by failed FOX Noise personality, Sean Hannity.
In May, Sean Hannity wrote a story on his website. He was either lying, or failed to fact check the story; either way it is another sad example of a desperate campaign.
Marine reservist, Corporal Ryan Stickney claimed that Trump sent his private jet to rescue himself and 200 other Marines. The story was approved by Donald Trump. This claim was debunked by Glenn Kessler, a Washington Post fact checker.
There was a plane sent to take the soldiers home, and it did have the ‘Trump’ name on it, but he didn’t send it. The Department of Defense was in control of the aircraft. It was part of another business failure by Trump; ‘Trump Shuttle Service.’ When he failed to make payments for the aircraft in 1991, the Pentagon made a deal to acquire the aircraft for the purpose of transporting troops. Trump had no part in the transport of the marines.
Kessler reports that this was the result of another “bad deal” by Trump, who had agreed to purchase a number of aircraft too numerous for his ambitions.
It’s not clear who is the biggest liar and fool; Trump or Hannity. Hannity’s overt loyalty to Trump has exposed him for what he has always been; an ignorant and ambitious television personality.
Trump continues to attack Hillary with unsubstantiated accusations. He is an ignorant man, and a failure. Even some of the most loyal Republicans are denouncing Trump. He has not only made a fool of himself, he has embarrassed our nation.
