Trump and his supporters represent the worst of America. They cherish hatred, and cheer when Trump spews racism, bigotry, misogyny, and xenophobia. Now we can add to his supporters at least one sexual deviate.
Trump’s camp attacked Hillary Clinton when the father of Omar Mateen, the cowardly shooter in an Orlando nightclub, was seen in the crowd at a recent rally. Trump said that ‘she should have known that he was there.’ Hillary’s campaign disavowed any knowledge of the man and renounced his son’s actions and beliefs.
That said, I’m certain that Trump knew that Mark Foley was sitting behind him at his own rally last evening; he tells us that he knows everything.
Foley resigned from Congress in disgrace in 2006 after it was discovered that he had been sending explicit sexual messages to under age male pages.
“When you get those seats, you sort of know the campaign. You sort of know the campaign,” Trump said after criticizing Hillary. He turned to the crowd behind him, and said: “How many of you know me?” Foley smiled and raised his hand. Trump surely knew that he was there; he made that claim earlier.
The seats directly behind Trump were labeled “RESERVED.”
Of course because Foley was a member of Congress, law enforcement refused to prosecute him, due to a “lack of evidence;” no surprise there. Sorry, Jarred, justice is not blind. Foley was never punished, and is not forced to register as a sex offender. Privilege, power, and money once again replaced justice.
Trump is defeating himself again. He is terrible in front of a microphone; but he cannot resist the attention. I know that my third grade teacher, Sister Mary Frances would have failed him in English.
