President Obama Defines Trump’s “Plan” to Defeat ISIS

President Obama (2)

President Obama once again revealed Trump’s ignorance regarding the events in the Middle East. He claims that the Republican Party and its standard bearer are unaware of the changing situations in the region. Trump spent most of his speech yesterday doing what he does best; blaming the President or Hillary Clinton for something which is a blatant falsehood. He says that the President is not doing enough to defeat ISIS. The truth is that joint efforts in Syria have caused enormous damage to the terrorist group.

While trump was falsely claiming that no success has been achieved, he offered a sketchy plan for his own administration. He suggested several proposals, but failed once again to offer any specifics.

This is Trump’s entire plan:

“The rise of ISIS is the direct result of policy decisions made by President Obama and Secretary Clinton,” Trump said, adding later: “My administration will aggressively pursue joint and coalition military operations to crush and destroy ISIS, international cooperation to cut off their funding, expanded intelligence sharing, and cyber warfare to disrupt and disable their propaganda and recruiting.”

This was said just as ISIS received major defeats in Fallujah, Ramadi, and Tikrit. It also has a familiar ring to the President’s own plan.

Trump criticized Mr. Obama and Hillary for the situation in Libya. Once again, the truth is that ISIS is suffering huge defeats in the nation as I write this article.

Trump’s speech was a perfect example of today’s Republican Party. It has continually criticized the President for their own obstructionist efforts. He has moved our nation from the “great recession” onto the road to recovery. He is helping to defeat ISIS without using the Republican tactic to rush into a ground war. Millions of people have healthcare; although it needs reformation to improve it for consumers, and eliminate the huge profits of insurance companies. Unemployment is lower than it has been in a decade. The stock market experienced volumes of trade never before witnessed in its history.

The truth is, only Democrats understand how to improve the economy. In recent history, Bill Clinton repaired the damage caused by Ronald Reagan’s “Reagonomics;” a policy continued by his successor George H.W. Bush.

George W. Bush removed all regulations on Wall Street and placed our nation into two costly and unwinnable wars. When he left office, Barrack Obama was allotted the worst possible situation any president has experienced in modern history. But after two terms, our nation is beginning to return to the pre-Bush era. Although our country will not be left with a surplus, as was the situation under Clinton, the next president will have the opportunity to continue the President’s plans and completely restore the economy for all Americans; not only for the one-percent.

Under Trump income inequality would grow, and the wealthy would once again become the beneficiaries of an unqualified president. Trump’s remarks about ISIS are not only careless, he previously claimed that he would not hesitate to use nuclear weapons to fight ISIS. “God bless America!”
