Don’t be fooled by the “new Donald Trump” or his party, racism is growing in America. White terrorists are attempting to create a race war in our nation through actions designed to instigate violence.
A new ‘white lives matter’ group, who admits that they are white supremacists, marched in front of NAACP headquarters in Houston Sunday. They align themselves with the American terrorist group the Ku Klux Klan. More than 20 individuals, carrying Confederate flags, and some with assault rifles, marched in front of the organization’s building.
The group’s spokesman, Ken Reed, offered the purpose of their march. “We came out here specifically today to protest against the NAACP and their failure in speaking out against the atrocities that organizations like Black Lives Matter and other pro-black organizations have caused the attack and killing of white police officers, the burning down of cities and things of that nature.”
These people surely watch FOX Noise and believe what they are told. FOX continually claims that black men and women are not treated differently than whites. They believe that the dozens of films offering proof that prejudice does exist were ‘faked.’
Anyone who denies that racism increased after our nation’s people committed the unbelievable sin of electing a black president, is living in fantasyland. These same people are ignoring the fact that all ‘red states’ are attempting to pass laws making it more difficult for black voters to cast their ballots. They are also attempting to defund Planned Parenthood; an agency low-income and poor women depend upon for life-saving health care. Many of them are black.
Donald Trump is not the only racist in the Republican Party; just read what Mike King writes, or Rush Limbaugh, among hundreds more.
After the civil rights movement of the 1960’s, our nation gave the appearance of becoming less racist; it was merely an illusion. The only difference between then and now is that racism is more overt than at any time since the 1950’s.
To call this group ‘ignorant’ is fair, but it’s also an understatement. These individuals are filled with hatred. When the color of someone’s skin becomes a reason for such a vile emotion, I fear for my country. Our nation will never be great as long as prejudice exists.
Trump has no idea what would “make America great again;” it never has been great. For it to become great, the Constitution must mean something to every American. We are not allowed to ‘pick and choose’ parts of it which support our own beliefs. All Americans must be treated equally; discrimination is not allowed. As a nation, we are far from this type of reality.
I am fed up with two things in American politics this year; Hillary’s e-mails, and the term “Islamic terrorism.” I have never heard a single Republican call the KKK what it really is; they are Christian terrorists in every sense of the term. Just as terrorists who claim to perform their cowardly attacks in the name of Islam, the KKK acts under the guise of Christianity. Neither group truly believes in the Quran or the Bible.
In my 70 years, I have witnessed my nation change. No longer are respect, understanding, tolerance and compassion practiced by the majority. Today fear, anger, hatred, and prejudice have replaced virtue with the weakness of emotions.
