Donald Trump Spends Freely, now that it’s Somebody Else’s Money

Tower of Trump

We know that Donald Trump has lied about everything, including his ‘success’ as a businessman. But this is one instance when the people of our nation need to know the type of man they would have as their president; a man without morals, scruples, or honor.

Trump’s presidential campaign headquarters are in Trump Plaza; where he is the landlord. Now that he is receiving donations from outside sources, and not funding his own campaign, he has raised the rent for his headquarters; and not by a small percentage, by 500 percent. In July, the cost to fund his own campaign headquarters rose to $169,758.

A Republican National Committee member, who supports Trump denounced the raise.

“If I was a donor, I’d want answers. If they don’t have any more staff, and they’re paying five times more? That’s the kind of stuff I’d read and try to make an (attack) ad out of it”

If this reminds you of the fact that Trump bragged about making money from foreclosures in 2008, it’s because it smells just as badly. Add these to his ‘fake university,’ and we have a picture of a man who cares only about himself. He is opportunistic and an actual “robber baron.”

That’s not the end of it. After Trump and the RNC reached a funding agreement in May, Trump paid his golf courses and restaurants a total of more than $260,000. I cannot imagine what he’d do with taxpayer’s money and an annual budget of nearly four trillion dollars.

If anyone thought that Trump might be concerned about income inequality, this is additional proof that he would work for the concerns of the wealthy at the expense of the working class.

Trump continues to use his own plane for travel. The aging 757 costs approximately $10,000 an hour in fuel costs alone. In July, Trump’s campaign reimbursed his company $495,000 for travel expenses.

Trump’s business practices have always been under scrutiny, now we can see why.
