If you are misinformed, or just plain ignorant, and you support Donald Trump and contribute to his campaign, you should know where your money is spent. I don’t believe that most of you live in a golden tower, and have servants to care for your every need; but your presidential candidate does.
In May, Trump ceased to fund his own campaign and began receiving funds from the RNC donated mostly by individual donors. It appears that Trump is paying himself from these donations.
After he declared his candidacy, Trump wrote a book. He spent $55,000 purchasing copies of his book from Barnes and Noble. Not only did he profit from the transaction, it made his book appear to be a more popular choice.
Trump’s campaign headquarters are located inside of Trump Tower. In June, he raised the rent for the offices to $169,758 per month.
Add to the rent the cost of food in the cafeteria. A Trump Tower taco bowl costs $18.
When he travels, he and his staff stay at a Trump property whenever possible. So far his campaign spent $400,000 at Mar-a-Lago, and $200,000 at other locations.
Campaign funds have paid $5.6 million to allow Trump to travel on his own private aircraft.
Trump’s staff claims that he spent $50 million of his own money before May to fund his campaign. It appears that he is paying himself back for prior expenses.
Trump can chant “crooked Hillary” forever, but he is the one who is cheating his supporters, in the same manner for which he has been sued in a court of law multiple times.
Claims by Trump that he is a self-made, successful businessman are an illusion. An investigation into his financial solvency revealed that he is at least $650 million in debt. Can we believe anything he says? I doubt it. Even the cornerstone of his campaign; deporting over 11 million undocumented workers, and building his ‘wall’ is in doubt. He is once again ‘changing his mind.’
Trump will never “make America great again;” he doesn’t know how. He is a “loser;” a failure. The American people deserve better. We deserve a president who can be effective on her first day, and attack the problems facing our nation. The United States cannot afford to have a “president-in-training.” In addition, Trump’s campaign has proven that he lacks the intellect and desire to seek and accept the necessary knowledge to lead our nation and the world.
Trump would be a disaster for our nation and a danger to world peace. He is concerned with one thing, and one thing only; his personal future and fortune.
