First of all, the only ‘reality shows’ on television occurs during a presidential election year. All of the others are simply pretenders; having directors, script writers, cameramen, lighting experts, and in some cased doctors present on the ‘set.’ I have never watched one, and I’m proud that I did not allow my intellect to be offended.
I also never watched Donald Trump’s “reality show” The Apprentice; I’m sure I didn’t miss anything. But I just read about some of the questions asked of prospective contests, and some of the “policies” they were forced to approve. They will surprise you, and may give you additional insight into the mind and morality of the Republican standard bearer.
We must assume that all of the following were approved by Trump. He claimed to have complete control over the content of the show.
Some of the questions had no connection with the show’s ‘purpose.’ They included: “What is your favorite movie?” and “If you could hold any political office, what would it be and why?” according a candidate application reviewed by The Daily Beast.
In addition, they were subjected to several medical tests, including “HIV, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, HPV, syphilis, chlamydia, gonorrhea, and herpes,” according to the contract.
All contestants were forced to agree to one strange and morally questionable clause regarding all filming: “whether I am clothed, partially clothed or naked, whether I am aware or unaware of such videotaping, filming or recording.”
Donald Trump is a ‘dirty old man!’ We knew he was a misogynist, but now we learn that he is a “perv.”
I understand that the show itself was very ‘lowbrow.’ Contestants would be sent to perform ‘tasks,’ Trump would rate them, and those who incurred disfavor from the real estate mogul received only two words: “You’re fired.”
On November eighth, Trump must hear those two words. This buffoon must not find new employment.
From November ninth on, anyone who badly loses an election, or is scorned by the American people will receive a three-word description: “You’ve been Trumped.”
