“536”

Republicans

The United States has 536 billionaires. The next nation with a significant number of the super-rich is China with 213. India is third with 111. Statistics prove that 45 million Americans live at the poverty level. Does anyone besides me believe that this is unforgivable?

The fact that the United States is the richest nation in the world and we have a staggering rate of homeless men, women, and families is unforgivable. The separation between those who struggle to survive and care for their families and the super-rich is beyond the understanding of most of our nation’s people.

The greatest crime is not committed by the wealthy who have no concern for our nation and its people. Our government, which protects greed, is the evil of our nation. Special interests receive priority within the Republican Party, and are the reason why income inequality is growing with every day.

The biggest reason why you are unlikely to know these statistics is the mainstream media. They join with the Republican Party and don’t want you to be aware of the disparity in our nation. They rely on ratings for their success at the expense of the truth.

Capitalism has failed the vast majority of the American people. During the great recession from 2008 until 2015, large corporations and the one-percent experienced increased profits while 320 million Americans struggled to maintain their quality of life.

During this period, and thanks to Republican presidents and politicians, the wealthiest citizens of our nation experienced an increase in their income while the rest of America suffered. The poverty level grew as the number of millionaires and billionaires rose.

None of this will change until the voting public rejects those who support this unforgivable situation. Special interests, otherwise known as the one-percent, control our government. Our democracy has become a plutocracy. The wealthy decide what legislation will be passed, and none of it represents the 99 percent of the American people.

If you have no interest in the 2016 election, or if you believe the Republican propaganda machine and allow emotional baggage to reject Hillary Clinton, you are supporting the destruction of the foundation of our country; the ideal of our founding fathers.

Donald Trump claims to be a member of the one-percent. If that’s true, he will protect his constituents. He has no concern for the future of our nation or its people. He is an ambitious man who has failed at his business enterprises. Facts reveal that without the support of other large investors, he would be living in a one-room shack in New Jersey.

There is no more time to pretend that our nation has not become a battleground. There is a war between the super-wealthy and the working class. The revolution must begin by guaranteeing that Donald Trump becomes a bad memory for the American people. He is the worst of those who deny our nation the ability to become a great country.

It is time for a revolution. If Trump is elected, it is likely to become a bloody coupe to remove a fascist who would rule the people of a once respected nation.

Make no mistake in your evaluation of our nation’s candidates. Trump is a white supremacist who supports the beliefs of our American terrorist group, the Ku Klux Klan. The addition of Steve Bannon to his staff is proof. Trump is not an American. Trump hates anyone who is not white and wealthy.
