This is America. With few exceptions which might endanger others, or harm their character without unquestionable proof, anyone can say anything whether it is the truth or a blatant lie. This is what Donald Trump does best. Today he is attempting to cover up the truth about himself and his campaign staff. Somehow he has quickly learned from Kellyanne Conway how to become a ‘spin doctor.’
The Republican Party is desperate to keep the attention on Hillary Clinton’s e-mails, the most inconsequential factor in this important election. Why isn’t the media focusing on Trump’s failed business ventures? Why aren’t they stressing the fact that he declared bankruptcy four times to avoid paying sub-contractors? Why hasn’t Trump University been exposed for the farce it was? Why hasn’t his close association with white supremacists, including his Campaign CEO, been the focus of the news? The truth is that the media supports Trump and has taken a stand against the future of our nation; they are nothing less than traitors to American values.
Speaking in Washington State on Tuesday, Trump once again told a blatant and damning lied. He said: “The Democratic Party is the Party of Slavery.”
He added: “The Republican Party is the party of Abraham Lincoln,” Donald Trump said at a rally in Everett, Washington.
“It is the Democratic Party that is the party of slavery, the party of Jim Crow and the party of opposition.” Really? Today’s Republican Party has no resemblance to the courageous men who supported the policies of Abraham Lincoln. They are today’s supporters of the Ku Klux Klan and the separation of races. We need only to look back to the civil rights movement of the 1960’s to offer proof. By his own words Trump has proven his belief in racism and the division of our nation by race and income.
There remain few true Republicans in our nation today; and Trump is far from becoming one of them. He is ignoring the fact that some of the actual Republicans left in the party refused to attend his convention. The last respected Republican President who represented the values and principles of a once Grand Old Party, George H.W. Bush, has denounced Trump as a viable standard bearer. If that isn’t demonstrative enough, I fail to understand what might influence American voters.
Trump represents what is not only the worst of our nation, he represents what is most dangerous to our nation’s future and the safety of the planet. Throughout his life records prove that he knows nothing, has done nothing, and has no concern for the people of our nation. He is a ‘robber baron’ whose only concern is his own advancement.
Trump could make a thousand trips to Mexico in the next two months and continue to fail to convince the Hispanic residents of the United States that he has any concern for their welfare. Trump believes that black America is ignorant. He actually thinks that after more than a year of ignoring their plight, he can convince them to vote for him. Trump is not only a fool; he is a very stupid man.
