Donald Trump is many things, and none of them have a positive connotation. To define him simply, he is a self-serving egomaniac who lacks morality, and any qualifications to lead our nation.
Has anyone heard of “Trump Model Management?” I have looked at much of Trump’s questionable businesses practices, but this is one I missed. According to “Mother Jones,” Trump’s modeling agency brought underage young women who were prohibited from obtaining a work visa, into this country to work for him. They came to America on “tourist visas” only. Three former Trump models, all undocumented immigrants, shared their stories with the admittedly left wing publication. In addition, a fourth model who was revealed by financial and immigration records, showed that she, too, had worked for Trump without a proper visa.
Rachel Blais is probably the best-known model to work for Trump. She signed with his agency in 2004, and worked for about three years. Blais was from Canada, and had never obtained a work visa as she accepted multiple jobs for the agency. Finally, in the late fall of 2004, she received a work permit. This was after a six-month gap in her residence. During that gap, she appeared on Trump’s humiliating reality show “The Apprentice,” modeling outfits acceptable to the real estate mogul as business attire.
Two other ‘models’ who requested anonymity, revealed that they worked for Trump at numerous jobs, and offered photographs of their efforts for the agency.
Statements by the models revealed the efforts by the agency to profit from the young women without protecting their future and their continued residence in the United States.
“I was pretty on edge most of the time I was there,” Anna said of the three months in 2009 she spent in New York working for Trump’s agency.
“I was there illegally,” she said. “A sitting duck.”
Speaking about Trump’s agency, Blais said: “Honestly, they are the most crooked agency I’ve ever worked for, and I’ve worked for quite a few,” said Rachel Blais.
What does Trump truly believe about illegal immigration? If it doesn’t benefit him, he’s against it. But if it involves beautiful, very young women, and benefits his personal income, he is apparently in favor of the practice.
Recent revelations about Trump’s well-known “reality show” the Apprentice are also alarming. His insistence that all contestants sign a release allowing them to be filmed at any time, clothed or unclothed, with, or without their knowledge is another revelation regarding his lack of moral standards.
Other models described their living conditions, supplied by Trump, as “sweatshops.” They were crammed into overcrowded situations which prevented any privacy and sanitary conditions were considered unimportant.
This is a man who wants to be your president and soil the sheets in the White House. Will the American people allow a corrupt, racist, and misogynist to live rent-free in our nation’s most cherished residence?
If even a small part of the story from Mother Jones is factual, this prevents Trump from any consideration when voters go to the polls in November. Evangelicals must denounce him, unless they stand by him in a hypocritical manner.
You either don’t know the real Donald Trump, or don’t want to. I’m sorry if you deny the truth. This is not a man who should represent the United States of America.
