On November 9th, I will be extremely happy to see the end of negative reporting by the media. The evil that is Donald Trump doesn’t compare to the evil on television “news” broadcasts. They all refuse to focus on what the candidates can do for our nation, and persist in reporting subjects such as e-mails and foundations. Trump provides his own negativity every time he opens his mouth.
If the media had chosen a path of respectability and offered the truth, the American people would understand why I believe that Hillary Clinton will be a great president.
I am not playing the “woman’s card,” but I truly believe that having a woman president will be a positive change for our nation. Men have failed our country for 240 years; time for real change. I will not be alive to see it, but someday, in the not too distant future, our Congress will consist of at least 200 Representatives, and 50 Senators.
Hillary’s experience is a huge plus for our nation. Not only does she understand all aspects of our government, she has already established relationships with many of the world’s leaders. More importantly, she knows the members of Congress well, and will work with both sides of the aisle.
Her cabinet will consist of intelligent and qualified men and women who will assist her in governing our nation. Hillary’s focus will be the working class, women, and minorities. Despite all the negative discussion regarding her relationship with Wall Street, she has a working rapport with our financial institutions, which is a must.
Her eight years as our nation’s First Lady allowed her to be in the inner circle of politics; something a presidential candidate can only learn from experience. As a senator, she actually worked in our government, and understands the effort needed to pass legislation. As Secretary of State, she not only established friends around the world, she learned how to work with our adversaries.
Our nation has never experienced a candidate so fully qualified to lead our nation and the free world. If the media had focused on the positives of a Hillary Clinton presidency, instead of sensationalism in support of the Republican Party, the American people would learn what I have long known, and why “I’m with Hillary.”
The truth is that Trump is the ‘anti-Hillary.’ He has no knowledge, and no ability to become our president. He would be a disaster for our nation’s people and a danger to the safety of people around the world.
The media, in consort with the GOP, has made this election about emotions. They have made us a weak nation, and unable to use our intelligence and think for ourselves. If we look at facts and used logic and common sense, Hillary is the clear choice.
I will be proud to see her take the oath of office on January 20, 2017. I hope a large percentage of the American people will feel the same way.
