Let’s get the truth out of the way; I’m writing about the second biggest “goof ball” in the TEA Party, Michele Bachmann. If Donald Trump wins in November, our nation will lose its democracy and become a nation led by a fascist. Now that’s over and we can talk about Bachmann.
In case you don’t remember her, Bachmann is a former representative from Minnesota, a member of the TEA Party, and is now an “evangelical adviser” to Trump. She is a religious extremist who would repeal the first amendment, and was a candidate for the presidency in 2012.
Bachmann has been called ‘crazy,’ and even ‘insane.’ Those who called her that may be accurate. She has also indicated that she is a white supremacist. One thing she definitely believes is that her “religion” is more important than the United States of America. This is her most recent “bu**sh*t. She was speaking on the Christian Broadcasting Network to host David Brody.
“Well, I don’t want to be melodramatic, but I do want to be truthful. I believe without a shadow of a doubt this is the last election. This is it. This is the last election. And the reason why I say that David is because it’s a math problem. It’s a math problem of demographics and a changing United States. If you look at the numbers of people who vote and who live in the country and who Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton want to bring into the country, this is the last election when we even have a chance to vote for somebody who will stand up for godly moral principles. This is it.”
I didn’t read any melodrama in her statement; did you? As far as ‘moral principles,’ no one can call themselves a Christian and remain racist, bigoted, and deny the rights of others to practice the faith of their choice. Jesus Christ wouldn’t approve of that.
I must have missed something during my education. I always thought that ours was a nation of immigrants. I seem to remember something on a statue in a bay which said: “Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses, etc.” Then I remember something we said every morning before classes began which ended: “with liberty and justice for all.”
It’s also funny that I have been predicting the end of our nation as I remember it if Trump wins. Trump, Bannon, Conway, Bossie, and Bachman are anti-America. They would repeal the first, fourth, and fourteenth amendments to the Bill of Rights. They would seek a way to reinstitute slavery, and deport all Hispanics. The wealthy would receive even more tax breaks and poverty would rise to include the middle class.
One thing all Republicans have in common is that they hate facts and the truth. History proves that the most prosperous period our nation experienced in the last 40 years was during Bill Clinton’s administration. Bachmann doesn’t accept that fact, because all of our nation’s people flourished, not just the one-percent.
Hillary will be a great president. She has the knowledge, experience, and plan to move our nation forward; not back to the past when racism, bigotry, and misogyny were accepted, and the LGBT community was “in the closet.”
